DIY Summer Cooling Spray
There are so many things to love about summer: swimming, friends, family, watermelon, vacation, lightning bugs, and ice cream, just to name a few.

But one of the things I do not like about summer is the summer heat and humidity that seems to come to St. Clair Shores every July and August.

This simple, natural spray keeps me cool and refreshed, helping me to face the heat and humidity of a Midwestern summer.

This is a quick and easy recipe and it provides a fine cooling mist that is both refreshing and invigorating. You can take this Cooling Spray anywhere. It would be awesome to take on vacations, camping, the beach or lake, amusement park, hiking...anywhere!

Ingredients:

Directions:

Add the pinch of salt to the spray bottle, add your essential oils to the salt and then add the witch hazel. Making it in this order will allow the salt to soak up the essential oils and disperse them better throughout the witch hazel rather than the oils sitting on top of the solution.

*Make sure that you buy non-alcoholic witch hazel as regular witch hazel can be very drying and irritating especial to sensitive or dry skin.

As I mentioned, this is so simple and I find it really invigorating and refreshing.

This spray does not have a super strong scent and leaves no residue or stickiness. I actually spritz this right on my face, neck and shoulders- obviously I am careful around my eyes and keep them closed when I spray my Cooling Spray on my face.

So spritz away! I hope you enjoy this DIY Cooling Spray as much as I do!

Be Healthy, Happy & Well,
Debbie
