How to get started
A quick rant:
Young Living is a multi-level marketing (MLM) company, which can often put a bad taste in peoples mouths because of past experiences they have had or because someone told them to avoid MLM's (maybe you have been told they are a pyramid scheme - which is total BS by the way), but let me explain why MLM is actually my favourite way to purchase products and why people like Warren Buffett and Tony Robbins said if they had their time again, they would create their own MLM.
When you go into a store, you buy a product from the shelf and that's it! The store clerk is just there for their pay cheque, to the company you are just a dollar figure and once you buy, you never hear from the store again (unless they send you their newsletter hoping you spend more money at their store). If you need help or info on your product, you have to turn to google. If you love the product you may recommend it to friends and family, but you don't receive so much as a even a thank you from the company. Basically the tips and info on how to use the product is up to you to discover for yourself and you are just another nameless, faceless customer for the business. And this might be a bit bold of me to say, but most of the negative press surrounding MLM actually comes from big business who feel threatened by the MLM movement, they know it's an amazing way of doing business and this ruffles their very greedy feathers.
However, when you purchase through an MLM, you make a purchase likely through someone you know (or know of) and trust, they do it because they LOVE the products, they are so grateful to you, they know your name, they want to educate you on how to best use the product, and they can give you a personalised opinion on what products would benefit you and your family. You are supporting their family make ends meet and the whole process is authentic, beautiful and heart felt. We know there are exceptions, as there are to every rule, and some people don't do business this way, but this is the way we do business here at The Soul-full Collective, and we are darn proud of that. We are all about making decisions from the heart, using your intuition and aligning with your soul path, so connection, education and community is our jam.
