Years ago, I changed from heavy duty antiperspirants, that rarely even worked, to a healthier, homemade version! Antiperspirants contain aluminum, to stop the sweat, which is a huge no no for our health. Did you know that aluminum is a huge cause of breast cancer? They don't advertise that well known fact. What can you do instead?
Say no to conventional deodorant and say hello to natural, effective homemade deodorant that really works. It's easy to make, last for months, and only takes minutes to make!
This is a recipe I have used for years and honestly, it's the best I've ever tried! Discover the luxury of deodorant made from your own home. Coconut oil, essential oils , baking soda and corn starch are combined to create a healthy, all-natural alternative to store-bought deodorants. You can even choose the scent!
The recipe is as follows
5 TBSP cold pressed organic coconut oil
1/4 C Baking Soda
1/4 C Corn Starch (can sub arrow root)
20 drops Young Living Essential Oils of choice (I love to use stress away or lavender, but you can choose what you like)
Mix this all together and store in a glass jar. This can also be put into an empty deodorant tube and kept in the fridge if you like that sort of thing.

Starting June 1, Young Living is simplifying its current rewards program. Young Living convention is back - in-person and virtually! Welcome to the first-ever Young Living North American Convention! Just like our Asia Pacific, European, and Latin American regions have their own conventions, the annual convention held in Salt Lake City will now be utilized by our North America region to host their own convention - geared to the North American audience.

Thanksgiving has come and gone already, but seriously, YAY! That means there's only one more month left of 2020. Who agrees it's been a wild ride, but all in all it's been a year of so much change and growth. Challenges included, this year has been a good one overall. Having an attitude of gratitude in the midst of turmoil and challenges is where it's at. Gratitude is scientifically proven to make positive changes deep in your body, on a cellular level! WOW!(feel free to look that up). It's easy to be grateful when everything is hunky dory, but when it really matters most is when life hits hard. Trying to keep your focus on the things you have to be grateful for is a great way to start a lasting change. One day at a time. We have one more month in the year to make it count. Let's start a new habit, a month early from the traditional new year's resolutions. *insert giggle I challenge you to think of 5 things you're grateful every morning before you open your eyes then again in the day and again in bed, before you fall asleep. When you make gratitude a habit, it becomes a lifestyle, life is better, your perspective is better. It's a good thing.
On the topic of gratitude, I'm so grateful for Young Living. Such an amazing company that loves people and uses every opportunity to give back to the members, communities and the needs of others. Our company is standing the test of time and has experienced almost supernatural growth over the last 5 yrs. It's been so fast, our current website platform can't keep up. It will be done in stages but I can't wait for everyone to see and experience this new educational resource and shopping all in one. *everything is being revamped and updated for efficiency and stability for growth in the future. Hey there, I hope this new year is bringing a renewed sense of peace and prosperity to your lives. I'm not one to make resolutions, but I do go in the new year with a clean slate. A do over. A new reminder to keep the promises made to myself like the promises I make to others. Also taking responsibility to share with others the transformation that our lives have had since taking the natural route in our home.
If you don't already know, it's flu season. This is a time where my family keeps above the wellness line by properly supporting our body with nutrition, oils and supplements.
