What are you satisfying yourself with? My tendency is to pursue what I can get done in a day. How capable I am of handling difficult situations. How well I’m caring for those around me. When any of those things fail to satisfy me, I’m left feeling discouraged, disappointed and worthless. Jesus is who should satisfy us! Pursuing Him and doing my work on His strength is what truly satisfies and then when I “fail”, according to earthly standards, it’s no big deal because I’ve already been filled up by Jesus. Walk in Him today and you will always be satisfied.
