See in the next challenge!

Almost there! This for me is when the excitement builds back up. Now that we have faithfully kept our challenge, it really sets us up well to make some new goals this time or just decide what the next step is that we’re going to take. Am I continuing to move and then adding water intake or changing my diet or maybe taking my supplements faithfully? I should do ALL of these but that can be overwhelming, which then causes me to jump from one thing to the next, never establishing anything and then just giving up for a time, only to pick it ALL back up later. Sooooo, we have a couple challenges that are options for this next month:
1) Gut health
2) Clean Home
This actually sets us up for several more challenges and so the winner for next month is . . .
Gut health! We’ll do a 14 day challenge and I am thinking of having a special guest hop on and teach us the connections that our gut has to the other organs in our bodies. This is going to be amazing!
I will be honest though when folks suggested gut health I wasn’t thrilled. 😂 It’s not favorite subject BUT it is necessary for our entire body functions, so let’s get after it, jump in and start to lay out some guidelines. I’ll start a separate group for this challenge, just so we keep things less confusing, but I will leave the other group up so you can refer back to information that we talked about. I’ll lay out more details tomorrow.
Keep moving and make a shift.

As we near the end of our movement challenge, let’s take a look at what goals you may want to set for the next 14 days! Here are some ideas: Gut health challenge, De-stress challenge, or maybe a cleaner home challenge??? Remember these are only for 14 days! And, it really gives you a chance to practice starting a habit with the goal of continuing that habit and maybe picking up a new one. I’m actually excited to start another 14 day challenge of some sort this next month. consistency is the key. Even if your 14 days are sporadic and strung out throughout the whole month, as long as you are continuing to work on it and choosing it rather then in-activity that is what will make the ultimate change. We may feel shame or guilt for not doing a challenge exactly the way it’s been lined out but in this group that doesn’t matter! You receive a gift and are able to be entered into the drawing at the end, as long as you commented on every post. No biggy! Just get back on the horse, no matter how many times you’ve fallen off. You don’t get better unless you get up.

We’ll run another challenge next month and we would love to have more people join us, so share with others and let’s pick our next 14 day challenge. Let me know in the comments what you’d like to do.

Going back to evaluating how this challenge has been going. It can be beneficial to not only note the highs and the things that went well, but also what were the hardest moments. Analyze why it was hard and what, if anything, helped you to over come it or brainstorm what could help you to overcome it in the future. I know I try to fit too much into my day. I don’t necessarily “plan” the things I do throughout the day, except for schooling and what is most pressing. Right now it’s processing meat and harvesting and processing produce. My home and property are suffering as a result of my poor planning. I trudge long and try to keep up on it all despite the fact that I know somethings are going to get dropped or not finished well. I know I need to have planning times. Times where I literally sit down for an hour and I lay out the quarter and then the month. When I do these things and realistically look at what I can do and not do, it not only frees up my mind, but in turn my schedule. I’m able to plan fun moments for my family, or be willing to shift a task from one time slot to another to accommodate for a friend or emergency that may come up. Planning for interruptions is something that has been impressed upon me by a group called: Cowgirls Over Coffee. This group has been instrumental in giving me the tools to manage my life over all and my business. Now, it’s my job to use those tools!

This will not happen overnight, but one of the hardest things for me is managing my time efficiently. I know utilizing those tools I’ve actually paid for will help me to overcome those hard, overwhelming and some times disappointing moments.
What has been one of the hardest things for you? What can you do to change it or what did you do to change it. If you need ideas, let’s dialogue in the comments sections!

So, about that heavy cream. I LOVE it in my coffee. It’s been one of those items that I did not want to give up and I’ve been holding off, hoping I could reach my goals without letting go of it. I finally relinquished control. I also recognized I needed to tell my husband that I planned to only put 1 tablespoon of heavy cream in my first cup of coffee in the morning. The last 3 mornings I’ve done just that and announced it to him! This reminds me of something I heard at the Young Living conference:

Some of this I don’t completely adhere to or believe. However, deciding to commit, then setting a deadline, and telling others what your plan is can be quite helpful in your success. This is why I started this challenge with my other Young Living gals and started a group for all of you. Sometimes we just need other people to know what we’re doing. So, post those pictures in this private group and share your success stories so far. Don’t forget there is a reward in store.
