I became a doula because I wanted to help others. My first birth experience was extremely traumatic and I buried it for years. I didn't ever really process it until I became a doula. My post partum period was equally traumatic. My second birth experience was a completely different experience. I realized that I wanted to help other people have births that left them feeling peace and hope instead of fear. I became a certified birth and post partum doula in 2021 and have been able to help hundreds of families since then. I have loved every second of it. I can't wait to help you along in your birth journey!
