I was born moving. I Danced on Broadway, taught Dance, became a Yoga Instructor. Always in motion, teaching, dancing and living through my body...
I was living my healthiest most energized self
But after turning 50, my dance was now with menopause, and a whole lot of mis-steps ensued. Migraines, belly flab, arm & skin sag, joint pain, fatigue, anxiety, depression, good grief the list is endless.
I was walking the path of self loathing, and because I didn't want to feel what was happening to my body... I didn't move. Bad choice. Because not moving meant I was shutting down. And I did.
But I'm here to say "I'm back" and I'm moving again...and
I . FEEL . GREAT.
Granted, I had to try a few things, fall back a few times, cry, get depressed, and binge on chocolate chip cookies... but with a few powerful tools I found along the way, this girl got her groove back. I've got my strength back, I feel so much more energy, like I've plugged back into life. Sleeping is deep, and chocolate chip cookies are appreciated a whole lot more.
I know you are struggling too. This aging thing is a tricky two-step. Don't let it trap you!! That's why I'm here. I’m on a mission to help a whole lot of "over 50 girlies" feel their body freedom again and empower themselves with the knowledge and resources I’ve worked so hard to get myself.
I'm not talking about dieting, or a workout routine, or programs that make you feel like it's a set-up for failure.
I'm talking about, walking, biking, painting, dancing...everything that makes your heart sing.
You feel me?
Because the body won't change unless it wants to change and the only way to do that is through that which we love.
