Common Uses for Frankincense.
- supports the skin
- Calms and soothes the body & mind
- Enhances meditation & grounding

Uplifting Diffuser Blend
- 4 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
- 4 drops Stress Away Essential Oil
- Water
- Diffuser
Directions:
Add water to the fill line of the diffuser.
Put the Frankincense and Stress Away Essential Oils into the water.
Put the top of the diffuser on and press the on button.
Sit near the diffuser to inhale and uplift your spirits.
Meditation Bath Salts
- 7 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
- 4 drops Copaiba Essential Oil
- 1/2 cup Epsom Salt
- 4 oz Glass Mason Jar
Directions: Put all the ingredients into a glass bowl and mix together then put the mixture into the jar. Add 1 Tablespoon of the mixture into your bath water for a peaceful experience.
Copaiba is known as a magnifier. anytime you use Copaiba with another essential oil it will have the effect of magnifying the properties of that oil. This can enable you to use less of another more expensive oil or get larger benefits from a different oil that you are using.

Magic Eye Serum
Ingredients:
- 7 drops Copaiba Essential Oil
- 5 drops Lavender Essential Oil
- 5 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
- Liquid Coconut Oil
- 10 ml Glass Roll -On Bottle
Directions:
Add the Essential Oils into the roll-on bottle and fill with Coconut Oil. then put the roll-on-top on.
Apply around your eyes in the morning and at night.

An excellent resource is the Young Living Training and Education site and this is where I gleaned this from. I have been using Thieves for years and here are some fun facts about the 5 oils that make up this awesome blend.
Thieves: Rosemary, Eucalyptus Radiata, Clove, Cinnamon Bark, and Lemon.
Let’s start with Lemon. Lemon essential oil is distracted through cold pressing, as all citrus oils are. This simply means that the rind of the lemon, not the fruit, is penetrated while rolling over a trough. Tiny pouches which contain the essential oil is pierced. Cold pressed is derived from the German words “kalt gescglagen” which literally means cold pummeled. Also, if it takes 75 lemons to produce just ONE 15ml bottle of YL Lemon essential oil, if the oils in Thieves were evenly split, so 1/5 of each (I am not sure the exact percentage of each, this exercise is just for fun), it would take 15 lemons to create the Thieves blend.
Clove originates in the Spice Island, and clove trees are fairly small, they only grow up to about nine feet and they grow best by the sea. Clove is extremely high in the chemical constituent eugenol and when I think of clove, I think of the holidays and sticking clove buds into oranges.
Did you know there are hundreds of types of cinnamon and four main varieties? This was new information to me! The four main types of Cinnamon, Ceylon, Cassia, Saigon, Korintje Cinnamon and identify them by color, taste, aroma, and appearance.
There are also over 900 different types of eucalyptus and eucalyptus is native to Australia. Young Living has three different types of eucalyptus single oils that we offer, can you name what they are?
The story behind rosemary is interesting and new to me…According to myth, the Virgin Mary is said to have spread her blue cloak over a white-blossomed rosemary bush when she was resting, and the flowers turned blue. The shrub then became known as the "Rose of Mary".
Although we use Thieves on a daily basis, especially in all of the different Thieves products, I hope today you learned something new and interesting about each of the five oils that make up our wonderful Thieves!
I like the fact on rosemary because I apply rosemary to my hair daily. It is also very good for your hair makes you smell good also. How many of you seasoned oilers have people come up to you and say you smell so good., it is very common.

An idea to keep the children busy this summer.
Homemade Play Dough with Essential Oils
10 drops of Stress Away EO
3 cups of Flour
3 cups of Water
1 cup of Salt
3 tbsp Vegetable oil
1 tbsp Cream of Tartar
Food Coloring
Storage container
Directions.
Mix all of the ingredients together in a glass bowl (except the Stress Away Essential Oil)
Pour the mixture into a frying pan and stir over low heat.
Cook until play dough is not sticky anymore.
Place playdough onto wax paper and let it cool down.
Add Stress Away Essential Oil to play dough.
Store in a container to prevent it from drying out.
Before using the play dough again you may add a few drops of Stress Away to it.
