I spent years searching for something that actually worked. One that felt simple. Something that could stick.
Back in June 2022, everything felt heavy ... recovering from a brain injury, processing a breakup, family stress, and more. I was doing my best to get back on track, but it felt like pushing through mud. I had so many goals: lose weight, rebuild my life after my TBI, eat better, move more, reconnect with friends, and grow my online business. But I was also working 40+ hours at my ministry job, caring for an aging parent two days a week, and juggling pain, poor sleep, and constant stress. Beneath it all, I wasn’t just tired—I was hurting. My head throbbed, my body ached, lifting my arm brought sharp pain. I felt overwhelmed, behind, and stuck in a cycle I couldn’t break.
Finally, I hit a wall and said: No more.

I gave myself permission to set the big goals aside and focus on just one thing: simply feeling better. Because I knew if I didn’t shift something soon, the spiral would continue.
Looking for a solution to pair with my simply feel better mindset, I tried four different systems in 2023 alone—and none of them landed. They were too complicated, too intense, or just didn’t fit into my real life.
