August 20, 2022 (FB POST): Before & After
Watch 5-minute testimony here.
The biggest testimony I have regarding collagen is not how my facial skin is tighter and my digestive tract is doing better.
My biggest testimony is energy, and brain related

Sunday - Tuesday of this week, I drove by myself out of state and had full work days And Did Just Fine!
Historically, cuz of my TBI, I would have been -
-exhausted
-and in pain
-and have trouble focusing
-(and other problems).
But I had N.O.N.E of that! And I was like whaaat?
And it got me thinking

Why?
The one thing I have added to my life as of late is young living's inner beauty collagen.
And now, I Am It's Biggest Fan

Are you overwhelmed, wanting to simply feel better? But just don't know where to start?
Takes deep breathes, then spend 2 minutes learning where to begin.
Being busy juggling work and family responsibilities, it is vital to maintain balance and ensure personal well-being.
Here are 3 strategies to help you manage both aspects of your life:
1. Prioritize and set boundaries:
Determine your top priorities and establish clear boundaries between work and family time. This is not easy, but can help to reduce stress by managing expectations and reducing disappointments.
–This means allocating specific hours for work and dedicating quality time solely to your family.
–Setting boundaries allows you to focus on the task at hand and ensure that your family receives the attention they deserve.
2. Delegate and ask for help:
Recognize that you don't have to do everything on your own. Yes, you are amazing and wonderful and able to do anything. That does not mean you have to do everything, all at once, with no help.
–Delegate tasks both at work and at home to reliable and trustworthy individuals. –This could involve assigning responsibilities to colleagues or involving your spouse, children, or other family members in household chores.
–By sharing the load, you can lighten your burden and have more time for yourself.
–This also helps with managing expectations and reducing disappointments.
3. Practice self-care:
It's crucial to prioritize self-care amidst the hustle and bustle.
–Allow moments to simply rest… your mind and your heart… let go of hurts by focusing on forgiveness. The wages of forgiveness is freedom.
–Take time to engage in activities that relax and rejuvenate you, such as exercise, meditation, reading, or pursuing hobbies.
–By making self-care a priority, you'll recharge your physical and mental energy, enabling you to be more productive and present in both your professional and personal life.
Everyone's situation is unique, so it's important to find strategies that work best for you and your family.
And remember, grace upon grace. Extend grace to others, and especially to yourself.
Finding myself rather overwhelmed in the summer of 2022, I focused on certain wellness habits to help me simply feel better. Grab that resource here.

Pain.
It started in January, in my left knee. Well, that is when I acknowledged that the sharp pain needed attention. Especially as the pain spread to my left hip and lower back.
Beginning of March, I started doing 15 min of yoga, 3 times a week. I noticed improvement, but then found myself doing my 3x/wk the last 3 days of the week. And kinda stressing about it #IKR
Today marks Day 103 of stretching every day.

What happens right before you realize your filled-almost-to-the-brim schedule may be too much?
Earlier this week, I found myself scrambling to catch up at my day job with the tsunami that is my "desk" (projects & emails & tasks). As well as needing to devote more time serving women who want to simply feel better. My head was going in many directions trying to make sense of what to do. I sat there wondering – what can be taken off my plate? In that moment I realized, maybe I simply need a break, like a safe harbor in the chaos, if you will.
I found myself opening an email, the content was promoting peace & inner joy & freedom. The invite was to a professional conference on learning how to have these in your life.
It felt like my eyes were opened anew. I was reminded – Jesus is my peace. He provides the freedom I desire. The next morning, a sweet friend emailed me Nehemiah 8:10 "The joy of the Lord is your strength." Oh how He meets me right where I am at, gently reminding me Who He is.
As I shared last week (read update here), since June 2022 I have been intentional with wellness-focused protocols to simply feel better. Whereas recently I have begun to pray & read my Bible more, this week it hit me hard … I need space in my schedule that is focused on the peace that Jesus provides.
Not remembering to bring my actual Bible (I am doing the caregiving portion of my schedule right now), today I bought a new one, in large print (#IYKYK), and a devotional book (titled Still Small Voice). Now, I simply need to be intentional with my spiritual well-being, which will help my mental & emotional well-being.
Are you overwhelmed? And wanting to simply feel better? Read here how I came to the realization that I needed to give myself grace, and focus on one thing at a time to Simply Feel Better.

In June 2022, I wanted to drop the weight. Which I gained processing through a breakup and resting & recovering from a traumatic brain injury (#TBI). Switching gears to get inertia going in my favor was proving harder than I thought.
I had so many goals- drop weight; boost my finances (that took a hit because of my #TBI); exercise more; eat better; start seeing my friends again (difficult to do the previous 18 months because of my #TBI); and reboot my Young Living business. But it was proving to be too much as I was at my childhood Farm every week for 2 days to care for an aging parent and working 40+ hours at my job. I was overwhelmed with the stress and worry and doubt .. and beating myself up because I wasn’t meeting my goals.
And I just wasn’t feeling well … my head hurt, parts of my body ached, lifting my right arm caused excruciating pain, I wasn’t getting enough sleep, I was worried about my dad. Finally, I got to the point that I said: no more. I put the goals on a shelf and focused on how I could Simply Feel Better. I knew it was either that, or things might continue in a downward spiral. I knew that in order to set myself up for success, I had to make small yet significant changes.
I kept drinking my NingXia Red daily, but I added Zyng and Nitro when extra energy & focus were needed. I added Cedarwood to the Lavender that I diffused nightly for sounder sleep. And I added Inner Beauty Collagen to my simple daily routine. These all helped with my energy and focus. The collagen especially helped with my energy (read more here) and after about six months, the pain in my right arm was gone. IKR!
I am glad that I decided to give myself grace to find natural and easy-to-apply ways to Simply Feel Better.
