Do The Gut Work - Day 1
Oh how I LOVE baked goods. Bagels, bread, homemade anything that has butter, flour and sugar. However, a lot of those ingredients can be causing our fatigue, inflammation, stomach discomfort and even brain fog. So, as much as we like those treats, it maybe necessary to eliminate them. Let’s start by eliminating processed sugar for the next couple of days. Some of us can still have honey, real maple syrup, and liquid stevia. Be very careful with fake sugars. As natural as you can go the better, because alternative sugars have been so processed and chemically changed that your body doesn’t know what to do with it and it can stay in your body long term. 

Sugar can have a negative impact on our bodies. I have observed that when my family and I have consumed too much sugar that we have a greater chance of catching a cold. My children also are much irritable and have less energy. I too can feel the effects of sugar in brain fog, fatigue and inflammation in my joints. I just don’t feel good. This is something that happens a day later usually. For this reason we should eliminate the sugars! 
I know that jumping in and eliminating all processed sugar can be overwhelming or intimidating but don’t balk at it! This is the first step in our 14 day process. It’s only 14 days, unless you decide that you like how you are feeling after the 14 days.
