I set a goal. I went to accomplish that goal and then: Middle school girl's basketball season hit; I was struggling with what I thought was a UTI; some of my kids got sick; they got healthy; we went home shopping up north; came back and the other half of the kids got sick, with something different (puking), and more basketball. 
Now, we're into February! So, what was that goal? I wanted to be more consistent in my daily life. I've typically been consistent in my quiet times with Jesus every morning, but starting school on time and focusing on schooling through out the morning, working with animals consistently and maintaining a cleaner home are on the docket. Just maintaining life and not adding anything new and spectacular to the agenda. It was hard to do those things in January, but we did it more than we ever have in the month of January. It's usually cold and getting out to work with animals is not enjoyable in the cold. Getting out of bed and starting the day with schooling is difficult when the girls have had late nights coming back from games and when kiddos get sick, I prefer to let them sleep. I'm currently letting them all sleep right now, while I type this. Despite January consistency goals not going 100% as planned, I am still thankful for what we did accomplish and am looking forward to this next month, continuing those goals and adding consistency in my business to that goal.
