Ready for the exciting news? Young Living has a brand-NEW shopping platform they plan to launch to all current YL members VERY SOON! You’re going to LOVE the new experience. The site is getting a complete overhaul!! But take note that there will be additional updates. YL wants the experience to be the best it can possibly be for everyone, so hang tight. It's all going to be pretty amazing!
YL has made it incredibly easy for us to shop, save, earn free gifts with purchases, & earn loyalty points as well as free shipping. When you log into youngliving.com, you’ll go straight to the shopping platform, you no longer have to see or use the Virtual Office, unless you’re a Brand Partner (see below). You also get to choose how you want to shop, as well as which products are the most important to you each month. You’ll even get to learn about each product and how to use it along the way! #SoHelpful ...AND all current wholesale members will have another FULL YEAR of getting their 24% discount!!
Heads up! The name of Essential Rewards will be changed to "Loyalty Rewards Program" and your "ER Points" will be called "LR Points." Currently, our ER program is a monthly autoship program. Subscribe to Save will be its new name & it will give you options to put favorites on subscription for you to receive at 1, 2, or 3-month intervals.
You'll also find there will be Customers and there will be Brand Partners. The difference? Brand Partners are people who are building a YL business. Customers are those who simply buy & enjoy their YL products. If you're not a Brand Partner yet but would like to know more about the business changes, let me know & we'll chat!
You've got mail! Did you see it? YL recently sent out an email to you to let you know if you'll be classified as a Customer or Brand Partner starting in sometime May. If you have ANY questions or believe you've been classified incorrectly, please let me know. I'm here to help!
Now, let's talk about a few other topics to help you navigate the differences and make the changeover easier for you...
👉🏼 Are you currently an ER member? Then you have no changes to worry about! You can still place a monthly 50+ PV order & earn Loyalty Points on each order you place, as well as gifts with your purchase. The difference is that it will be set up through the Subscribe to Save (under My Account / My Subscriptions).
Let me explain it a little further for you. Each of your products that you get in your Loyalty Rewards order (formerly ER) will be part of "Subscribe to Save" - in other words, you'll make it part of your subscription. Hang in there with me...
👉🏼 If there are products you purchase every month / 2 months / 3 months, you can place those on Subscription as part of your Loyalty Rewards order. EX: you get Ningxia Red (NR) every month, so when you set up my Loyalty Rewards order, you'll put that as a monthly item. Let's say you get a body wash every other month, you'll add that to your subscription & set it to every 2 months. If it's an oil or product you'd only get occasionally, such as Jade Lemon essential oil, you'll add that this month as a monthly item, but then change it next month - just like you already do now with your ER orders. It's the same thing, just a different way of going about it.
👉🏼 Pay attention to your PV amount, NOT your subtotal. That way, you'll know if you've met the PV amount you want to reach as your Loyalty Rewards minimum, to earn gifts with purchase at the 190 / 250 / 300 levels. If you're a Brand Partner, you'll want to know your PV to make sure you're qualifying for your full commission.
After you've done this a couple of times, it won't feel so overwhelming. I understand it can feel this way at first. Remember, I'm here to help if you need anything! The new site is incredibly intuitive & is so much easier to navigate.
👉🏼 How do you know if you've been classified as a Brand Partner? Brand Partners are ranked Star or above, enrolled someone in the last year, have been paid in the past year or purchased a YL Business Kit ($29).
👉🏼 Why the change? Current YL members are classified as distributors, even if they're solely purchasing products at wholesale pricing. The FTC likes to see that people are only considered as business team members if they have specifically chosen to do that and are building a business. These changes align us with FTC guidelines & better focus on Customer needs.
