Health update/Good news/Covid/Tea tree oil

Health update/Good news/Covid/Tea tree oil
Well, it has been a while since I posted. I waited until after the biopsy results came back.  The good news is there is no cancer. I almost could not believe when the doctor announced "no cancer".  I had prepared for it to be some type of cancer. But, it is inflammation. That is something I have always struggled with. I do have an appointment Wednesday with the oncologist but expect her to release me.

More good news on the health front for everyone. The FDA has banned mercury from all vaccines. Though mercury is not in childhood vaccines it does exist in flu vaccines. It will be gone in all vaccines. Yay! Also, many companies have commited to eliminating all dyes from many of their foods by 2027. That is also a win. READ THE LABLES. Not all companies have commited to it.

There is a new Covid strain. It is marked by a "razor knife sore throat". Glenn could not go to Selma for his clergy meeting because many of the clergy had tested positive for it. Of course the FDA and news sources are recommending the Covid vaccine. There are now NEW vaccines and new trials for the NEW vaccine. These trials are a good thing. They will have a placebo as part of the trial. Also, Kennedy is recommending no Covid vaccines for children and pregnant women. You will have a choice. I recently watched a program on the effects of Covid. Twenty five million people have long Covid. This is not from the vaccine but Covid itself. There are over 200 symptoms of long Covid. For those of you who use the Germ Fighting Salve you may want to start using it now. Also, I swear by Thieves spray. I use all things Thieves in my house and we have been healthy from summer colds and summer flu's. Remember Covid is a flu.

I have been exercising a lot. My knee is better so I walk twice a week and work out on the eliptical twice a week. Plus, I work out with weights. I sweat a lot even working out indoors. This past month I developed a heat rash on my stomach. I tried some creams and nothing worked. I finally looked up heat rash and essential oils. I do not know why I did not do this when the rash first developed. But anyway, it said use Tea Tree.  I do not use Tea Tree much. You cannot diffuse it around dogs and I have 3 dogs. So anyway I started using it on my heat rash and the burning and itching went away almost immediately. I am now a BIG fan of Tea Tree. My rash was almost gone in three days. Guys, do not forget your essential oils. I use them daily.

I am now investigating products that help with inflammation. I know diet is important. But supplements are also important. So...I will let you know what I find out. I will not wait so long between posts. Enjoy the cool weather coming......prepare yourself for fall. Are you ready for winter?

Health Mystery Update/ It is that time of year!

Health Mystery Update/ It is that time of year!
Well my health mystery continues, but hopefully will be over next month. I have a biopsy on the lymph nodes in my chest on August 11th. This lympnode mystery could be a 100 different things. Just trying to rule out cancer.

It is that time of year! I am preparing my "wellness cabinet" for fall and winter. I have been going through my oils and supplements to make sure I am prepared for any fall/winter illness. I know I need some Inner Defense, Life 9 and Thieves cough drops. Also, some Super C is needed. I am making sure I have enough Frankincense, Oregano, and Thieves oil. Breathe Again and R.C. oils are a must, plus Seasonal Essentials oil. I have enough "germ fighting cream" made and have already started wearing it. There have been alot of summer colds going around. And of course I drink Ninxia Red daily.

So what is in your wellness cabinet for fall and winter? Are you prepared? Remember to lay off sugar, drink water and get plenty of rest. Exercising 3 days a week can change your life. Do not get caught off guard and start preparing now for winter wellness. Halloween is 3 months away. After that, time will go fast!

In my next post I have some good news to share. There are some good things going on in my health journey. Hmmm.....

Health Scare!

Health Scare!
Well guys, several weeks ago I had a health scare. The weird thing is that it has not been resolved. But the good news is I am not dying. Not yet! So this is the story....

About 4 years ago a test found what the doctor, thought was a cyst on my kidney.  After further testing it was found to be a cancerous tumor. The good news is that instead of removing my kidney they removed the tumor through robotic surgery. The tumor was small and is not expected to come back. Interesting fact is my dad had a tumor also. It is caused by smoke. Neither me or my dad smokes so the doctor thinks it is from second hand smoke. Many members of my family smoked. Anyway, surgery was performed and I have had several cat scans since then. My most recent scan showed no reoccurance of the cancer. Or so we thought. A nodual was found on my lung and a grey area on 2 lymph nodes in my abdomen. My doctor set me up with a pet scan. I had the scan and it was nerve racking waiting for the results. I have good news and no news. The node in my lung was so small it did not show up. But I had 2 lymph nodes in my chest, and 2 in my abdomen that were lit up slightly. But everything is so small my doctor has no idea what it is. So I had an appointment with an oncologist and she also does not know what it is. I may have a procedure to try to get some tissue from the lymph nodes in my chest. If they cannot get tissue the oncologist will just watch me for a while and see if anything grows.I will get scans every 3 months. If nothing changes they will assume I am having reactive lymph nodes( caused by inflammation.) I have many people praying for me. Please if you feel lead pray for me.

Meanwhile, I just keep on taking care of myself. I have been working on keeping my body strong. I am working out at the Y, 3 to 4 days a week, drinking my Ninxgia Red with Ninxgia Greens plus taking my many supplements and injesting Frankincense. I am drinking my water and watching what I eat......I will keep you posted.....

I learned how to enjoy life over 50......

Turning 40 was a magical age for me. I was at an age where life was easy. I enjoyed scrapbooking and crafting with my friends, homeschooling my son and serving alongside my husband in our local church. Even though I was overweight I looked good and felt good. But within a few short years my health changed dramatically. I developed respiratory issues, pelvic pain, and a chronic disorder characterized by “widespread muscle pain with fatigue and tenderness”.  Occasional anxiety set in. My decline really affected my ability to be creative, to minister effectively in my church and to function at home.

I suffered through a hysterectomy and many doctors visits. A change in seasons would send me in a painful roller coaster of antibiotics and steroids. Spending a whole day in bed became normal.  Age 50 came quickly with no lasting solutions.

Eventually I began to explore and research natural remedies. Something I was not taught in my younger years was lifestyle.  I considered that maybe my lifestyle was contributing to my health issues and my emotions.

One day I was venting my frustration to a friend who had been battling some of  the same chronic issues. We talked about some of the natural solutions I had read about. One of the  solutions she had used and had some great results with. I became instantly interested.

That is when my real life changing journey began. I found a solution that has contributed to a healthy lifestyle and brought about the quality of life I was looking for.  It is my mission to share with mature women, how to embrace the enjoyment of life over 50.
