A soft scrub is a cleaning scrub that is not abrasive so it won't scratch the surface of whatever it is you are cleaning!
It is mostly good for cleaning and polishing granite and marble countertops, glass cooktops, and stainless steel sinks and appliances.
Comet, a commonly known and widely used soft scrub, contains 146 known toxic chemicals and possibly 100plus more undisclosed (don't take my word for it, do your own research!!!!!! I promise it is out there if you don't believe me!)
Most powdered scrubbing cleaners contain tons of ingredients as mentioned above including
*formaldehyde
*benzene
*chloroform
that *can* cause negative health effects such as cancer, asthma and reproductive disorders.
Perhaps even more disturbing, as noted by EWG (Environmental Working Group), is that the health risks of many of the ingredients and contaminants in these scrubbing cleansers is virtually unknown.
