What EXACTLY are Essential Oils?

What are Essential oils?  Of course, there is a long scientific explanation.  However, the idea of essential oils is quite simple.  Essential oils are the fluid in living plants that help the plant regenerate, oxygenate, and strengthen the plant.  They also act as the self-defense system for the plant to protect against internal and external threats. And, they also are a system to help the plant adapt to their environment internally and externally.

What does that mean for us?  Oils date back centuries. There are 14 Essential Oils in the Bible. They were used for immune support, healing our bodies, and supporting our daily health.  Essential Oils are antifungal and antibacterial by nature. So, Essential Oils have immune-strengthening and therapeutic properties.  These properties and compounds allow the Essential Oils to cross the blood-brain barrier.  This means that they can penetrate our bodies on a cellular level. They are easily absorbed into our skin when applied topically.  And they have amazing affect to our system when diffused and inhaled.   When this happens, they support our system and help our body in healing itself.

They date back to Europe and their Medieval Pharmacies.  And the Bible used them for support and healing and daily health.  So, I think that is a prime example of why you should use them so that you can be in charge of your own daily health and well-being.   Think of it as a line.  This line is the “average” health of a person.  You listen to and manage your own health and well-being needs by using Essential Oils in your daily routine.  This way you are functioning above the line or above average.  In addition to this, it is also an alternative to all of the chemically-filled potions and cleaners and such that we use in our homes every day.

Essential Oils aren’t just for making everything smell great.  They are here to help you promote a healthier way of living, and helping you to be pro-active in your health journey.
