Mix 25 drops of Purification blend with 1 teaspoon Epsom salt and add to a spray bottle with 1 cup each of water and apple cider vinegar. Spray this mixture on your carpet and let it sit for 10–15 minutes while it works its magic. Then blot the mixture with an old towel or rag to soak up any remaining moisture.

Using Purification® essential oil blend for cleansing the air

Diffuse Purification blend on its own or with refreshing Young Living® oils like Eucalyptus and Lime to make your home smell squeaky clean in minutes. To target odors in specific areas, put a few drops of this blend on cotton balls and stash them under your trash can liner, in your shoes, in air vents, or anywhere else you want to freshen up.

Using Purification® essential oil blend as a DEET-free spray

Looking for a clean alternative to commercial outdoor sprays? Make your own with 1 tablespoon vegetable glycerin, 1 tablespoon witch hazel, 6 ounces water, and 30 drops Purification essential oil blend. Spritz this mixture onto exposed skin to protect yourself against nature’s annoyances.

Using Purification® essential oil blend for garbage disposal odors

Make your own garbage disposal cleaning pods with 1 cup baking soda, ½ cup salt, ¾ cup liquid soap, and 30 drops Purification blend. Add water until the mixture has the texture of wet sand. Form into balls and let dry for 24 hours. To use, drop the pod in the disposal and let water run for about 10 seconds before turning your disposal on.

About the Harvesting the power of the plants behind Purification® blend...


Citronella oil comes from a flowering grass commonly cultivated in Sri Lanka. Its fresh, lemony aroma is commonly used to fend off Mother Nature’s annoyances.
Lavandin oil, not to be confused with Lavender oil, comes from a hybrid of lavender and spike lavender. It has a much higher level of camphor (about 8–10 times as much) and a stronger, more herbaceous scent than regular Lavender essential oil.
Lemongrass oil is sourced from a fragrant, flowering grass that’s native to India, Guatemala, and other tropical countries. Like Citronella, this oil is a gardener’s favorite for warding off nature’s nuisances.
Myrtle oil is steam distilled from an aromatic shrub that grows in the Mediterranean. It has a fresh, eucalyptus-like scent and is packed with skin care benefits.
Rosemary oil, a common ingredient in soaps and household cleaners, is the result of distilling the fresh, flowering tops of a rosemary shrub. Its robust, invigorating, herbal aroma is ideal for freshening the air.
Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) oil is obtained from tea tree leaves, which were traditionally used by Australia’s first peoples to cleanse the skin. Its crisp, clean scent is also a powerful odor neutralizer.

Use a laundry soap free from harsh additives and perfumes


Many people have no idea what kind of harsh chemicals and additives are hiding in their laundry detergent. When selecting a detergent, always check for synthetic ingredients and opt for one that is free of harsh additives and fragrances.

The following are common additives that should be avoided:

Optical brighteners

Many popular laundry detergents contain optical brighteners to give clothes the appearance of being clean and white. By reflecting blue light, optical brighteners give the illusion of fabrics that look whiter than they actually are. These chemicals are designed to absorb into fabrics and remain on clothes after washing.

If you’re looking to keep your whites bright without adding synthetic chemicals to the wash, try one of these easy alternatives:  

  • If you see stains on your clothes, pretreat them before washing.
  • Don’t mix your whites with other colours in the wash. Launder them in an all-white load and use hot water.
  • To whiten small items like socks or napkins, fill a pot with water and a few lemon slices, bring to a boil, turn off the heat, then add the linens. Soak for up to an hour, then launder as usual.
  • For an extra brightening boost for whites, hang them to dry in the sun for natural bleaching!

Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS)

Sodium lauryl sulfate, or SLS, is a cleansing agent widely used in products like soaps, shampoos, toothpastes and laundry detergents. It is used so often because it’s inexpensive and produces lots of foamy lather. Many people are concerned about SLS in their products because it can sometimes cause irritation or itchiness and may have other unknown side effects.

Synthetic perfumes

Some people consider synthetic perfumes, such as parabens, to be problematic because companies aren’t required to disclose the exact ingredients in the fragrances. Some have described that these perfumes can irritate sensitive skin and cause itching.

Can you believe it’s August? How did we get here already?? Typically this month signals the end of summer and the start of the busy school year.  As we begin that transition, let’s make sure we have our favourite oils and supplements on hand so things go smoothly! No matter if your kids are heading back to in-person schooling or hanging out at home to complete their schoolwork, they still need us to help them care for their bodies. What is 'the natural face-lift'®?

The 'Natural Face-Lift Facial Rejuvenation is a whole body approach to anti-aging. I incorporate local treatment of the face using frequency specific microcurrent and essential oils combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine methods to improve overall health.   • The q-tips allow us to use a targeted and specific approach, working from the origin and insertion of the muscles to sculpt the face.
Other procedures take a more general approach focusing on the local area only. This creates less complete results that may not last as long. There is also the added concern regarding toxicity, infection, irritation and risk of permanent damage with many other procedures.

Why Microcurrent Facial Rejuvenation?

Microcurrent has been in Valentina's tool box from the beginning! It’s original use was to offer an acupuncture treatment for children and those afraid of needles.
Research shows Microcurrent increases ATP (adenosine triphosphate) production, increases protein synthesis (soft tissue healing), increases cellular membrane transport by 40% (reduction in swelling and inflammation), activates T-Lymphocytes (strengthens immune system), and improves DNA synthesis (for soft tissue cell regeneration). ITeraCare TeraHertz Wave Therapy
