I’ve been using essential oils for years, for many different reasons and have even use them for cleaning my home, cars, and office. I want to share with you that this cleaner delivers and actually exceeds my expectations! It may be hard to believe but Thieves Household Cleaner is truly an all in one cleaner with an added benefit of being non-toxic.
What I love about Thieves all purpose cleaner, is that it is made from 100% plant based and mineral ingredients, and it’s environmentally friendly plus biodegradable. It contains Thieves and lemon essential oils, which are both excellent for natural cleaning. Thieves Household Cleaner comes in a concentrated form so that you have the flexibility to mix it up depending on what your needs are. Here’s how I use it ~
- Regular all-purpose cleaning: 1 part Thieves (1 cap full) to 30 parts water(about 3 cups.)
- Heavy duty cleaning and de-greasing: 1 part Thieves to 15 parts water.
- Glass, windows an light cleaning: 1 part Thieves to 60 parts water.
I use a 30oz. spray bottle to hold my cleaning mixture. Since Thieves comes in a 64oz bottle, the breakdown comes to about 128 bottles of all natural cleaner at about 88 cents each. I’ve never purchased an all natural cleaner for any where close to that price and never one that’s as effective as Thieves.
The cleaning power of Thieves stands on it’s own and so does the fact that it’s economical but those two reasons are are not the main reason for my purchase. I wanted a product that would be safe around my family, pets and food from a company that I trust. Using so many products that are full of hard chemicals was just not working for me and I was passionate about finding a better way to clean. STRESS AWAY
I don’t necessarily like to “rank” my essential oils, but Stress Away is absolutely one of the must-have essential oils for travel. We all know traveling can be extremely stressful. Whether it’s delayed flights, poor traveling conditions, or just the fear of getting from point A to point B, it can be stressful. The Stress Away roll-on is perfect for every type of travel out there, whether it’s car, train, boat, plane, whatever.
There was a recent week that I felt like I was wearing it as an everyday perfume because one, I was that stressed and two, it actually works really well for me. I roll the Stress Away on behind my ears, on the back of my neck, and onto my wrists. The peppermint in the essential oil blend is also helpful with head tension or just giving that good-feel energy boost.
I usually put it on about 30 minutes before traveling and then I keep it in my purse throughout the trip. I love rolling it on my wrists when I just need a quick breather in the middle of the day. Coming from a girl who’s nerves (gotta stay FDA compliant with my words) have continued to increase every year of my adult life, this is definitely one of the best essential oils for travel.
THIEVES
Everyone. Needs. Thieves. When I travel, I bring the small spray bottle, my hand sanitizer, and the Thieves Vitality essential oil. The plant-based ingredients are naturally derived and help keep me healthy in so many different ways. The Thieves spray is my favorite on the plane. I spray the armchairs, tables, and seatbelt. Call me crazy, but I even bring it with me to the bathroom. Before eating, I always use the waterless Thieves hand purifier.
The Thieves Vitality oil supports my immune system, keeping me healthy throughout my travels. With all the different environments and germs, it’s easy to catch something (just ask my friend that got off a week-long cruise with a horrible cold). It can be added to any morning juice, coffee, or tea. The sweet and spicy flavor is the perfect essential oil for a regular wellness regimen. DIGIZE VITALITY
Speaking of health, I’m the first to admit my diet is a lot different on vacay than it is when I’m at home. I drink too much, eat all the carbs, and probably request the dessert menu more than once. I have a pretty sensitive stomach sometimes, but DiGize has helped me so much!
DiGize Vitality blends Tarragon, Ginger, Peppermint, Juniper, Fennel, Lemongrass, Anise, and Patchouli. When we were recently in Lucerne, Switzerland, my stomach was feeling so upset. I know it was from over-indulgence, not enough water, and foods that my body isn’t familiar with on a daily basis. I added two drops of DiGize to hot water after our meal and it was a lifesaver. It can also be added in a capsule and taken orally on a daily basis as part of a regular wellness regimen. Having it with me is just a stress-reliever knowing that it’ll calm my stomach if needed.
LAVENDER
Lavender is one of my all-time favorite oils. It’s the oil that convinced me to start trying more essential oils. The versatility of lavender essential oil makes it such a great travel companion. I rub the lavender on the bottom of my feet to set the stage for a restful atmosphere, leaving me refreshed the next morning.
Again, if you’re new to the essential oil world, start off with lavender. You’ll find yourself using it in so many different ways.
DEEP RELIEF
If your travels are extra busy or you’re squeezing in workouts in between pina coladas, Deep Relief roll-on will be your best friend. I keep it in my bag at all times when I need a refreshing pick-me-up. The mix of Peppermint and Wintergreen provide the cooling sensation that makes me feel ready to take on the day, anywhere in the world.
It can be rolled onto the back of your neck or behind the ears. A quick roll onto your temples or chest will also give you the recharge you’re looking for in the middle of all the fun you have on vacation!
