Living with Autoimmune Diseases – Part 3 - Gluten, What you don’t know just might kill you

Did you know that left untreated Gluten Sensitivity is another related symptom for Autoimmune Disease. It can complicate things like Osteoporosis, Thyroid Disease and more. It can cause chronic fatigue, Brain Fog, Hashimoto’s RA Ulcerative Colitis, Lupus, Psoriasis, Scleroderma, Narcolepsy, MS, dizziness, hormone imbalances such as PMS, PCOS or unexplained infertility, Migraine headaches, just to name a few.

Did you know that there are now more than 55 diseases that are linked to Gluten. It is estimated that 99% of the people who either have gluten intolerance or celiac disease are never diagnosed.
In order to see if Gluten is a trigger for you, you will have to remove gluten from your diet – 100% for 30 days, minimum. If you introduce gluten after that and have issues like bloating, or any symptom from your autoimmune disease you then know that gluten is a definite trigger. Remember that you can not only illuminate it from home but from anywhere and everything that you eat to get a true test.

So try the Gluten Free 30 day Challenge and let me know how you feel. I am getting ready to do this after my 1st meeting with Pathways to Health on March 8h.

Living with an Autoimmune Disease - Part 2

👀 Living with an Autoimmune Disease can be difficult. There are many factors that play into what the daily struggle is.
Did you know that Aspartame aka: Splenda, Sweet 'N Low, etc. is converted to formaldehyde in your body.
Formaldehyde is an embalming fluid - Now think about that. Your liver can't clear this toxin normally, so it stays lodged & will activate inflammation. Inflammation can lead to autoimmune diseases and cancer growths.

So think about those "diet" drinks, the energy drinks, the let me help you lose weight drinks.
Look at the ingredients, because that is what really matters.  Aspartame can be disguised as many different labels - know what your are putting in your body.  Use "real' sugar. I personally prefer raw brown sugar if I use any at all.

Living with Autoimmune Diseases - Part 1

Having Autoimmune Disease Disorders is a life changing experience. There are many things that you don't realize that affect your everyday living. I have several and learning to live with them is life altering.
Your body's immune system protects you from disease and infection. But if you have an autoimmune disease, your immune system attacks healthy cells in your body by mistake. Autoimmune diseases can affect many parts of the body.
No one is sure what causes autoimmune diseases. There are more than 80 types of autoimmune diseases, and some have similar symptoms. This makes it hard for your health care provider to know if you really have one of these diseases, and if so, which one. Getting a diagnosis can be frustrating and stressful. Often, the first symptoms are fatigue, muscle aches and a low fever. The classic sign of an autoimmune disease is inflammation, which can cause redness, heat, pain and swelling.
The diseases may also have flare-ups, when they get worse, and remissions, when symptoms get better or disappear. Treatment depends on the disease, but in most cases one important goal is to reduce inflammation.
There are many things that cause them - hidden allergens, infections, environmental toxins, an inflammatory diet, and stress are the real causes of these inflammatory conditions. Autoimmune diseases, specifically, now affect 24 million people and include rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis, thyroid disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and more.
I've been working on controlling mine for 4 years now and have been Blessed to stay pharmaceutical free. It's not easy, it's life changing and everyday is a new venture. My next research with these issues will be foods and how they affect my body.
If you would like to learn about what I have done and what I will be doing in the future, let me know. Sharing is Knowledge, Knowledge is Power,  and the More You Know, the More You Grow.

Winter Wellness is Available - with everything Thieves

January is almost 1/2 way over and so many people are coming down with issue's.  My Family and I have traveled extensively in the last 30 days and we are ever so grateful for the Thieves products.
Thieves Essential Oil, Thieves Hand Purifier, Thieves Spray, Thieves Household Cleaner, Thieves Laundry Detergent, Thieve Vegetable Spray or Wash, Thieves Toothpaste, Thieves Mouthwash, Thieves Soap, Thieves Throat Lozenges, Thieves Cough Drops, heck  Thieves Everything.
I want to share some of the History of Thieves.
While there are a few versions of the story they all center around one event, the Bubonic Plague. It is said that, during that time, four thieves went from house to house to rob those who had succumbed to the illness. After the thieves were captured and tried for their acts of robbery, a judge offered leniency if they would share how they were able to be around those afflicted long and often enough to rob them but not be affected by the illness. It’s interesting to note here that, during this time of the plague striking Europe, physicians were seen wearing long black robes, wide brimmed hats, and masks that appeared to have a beak. The reason for doing this is that the masks were said to have contained a combination of herbs, spices, and essential oils that the physicians would breathe in order to keep themselves safe from those afflicted with the illness. Their long black robes were also said to be doused in a similar fragrant concoction and current research continues to build upon this theory.
With that being said - Wouldn't you like some Thieves?  Let me know what you think, ask me any questions.  We would love to share with you our journey.
