Happy Holidays - It's been awhile
Well - it's a deep subject and I sure do need to fill everyone in.  I haven't been very good about keeping you up on what I am doing and all the things.
Recently I decided that it was time for me to get on the "lose" some weight, but better yet, I don't want to lose anything, because somehow every time we lose something we seem to always find it. 
So my journey is - let's get rid of some old things so that I can have new things.

About 3 months ago, I joined up with my dear friend Martha Krejci in her Good Life, JumpStart Program - to say I was petrified was beyond measure.  I had been in her group for more than 6 months but wasn't doing a dang thing about it, well maybe just drinking the juice.  Martha decided to do a Wellness Retreat at the Tabiona Farm in Utah and asked me to be the cook for it.  WHAT - cook for 24 people, 2 meals a day for 11 days!!! Well, if you know me, you know I am always up for a good challenge and I absolutely LOVE to cook.  So I took the challenge.

Now I had some learning to do - what the heck is Paleo and why on earth do we want to eat that way.  I scoured her group, I scoured all the menu ideas, I printed them out and then my anxiety got the best of me.  Dang, I know I can do this - cooking is fun for me.  So, I sat down and took the time to really look at all the different menu options and realized, I already cook that way and didn't even realize it.  I just needed to learn her program and why she does it the way she did and ALL the benefits.

Once I took the time to find out all the Whys, it made sense and I knew I could do it.  I planned the menus, had products shipped directly to the farm, and then we grocery shopped once we arrived in SLC before we trekked the 2 hours to the middle of nowhere Utah. We spent 11 days with a group of Ladies from ALL over the World - literally, Germany, Norway, USA - it was the most fabulous time ever.  

To say that it is easier than I could have ever imagined is an understatement. It's so EASY that anyone can do it, including YOU.  Besides eating good food, the only extra thing we needed was the Juice and that's an easy button that I can share with you.  I am currently down over 30 lbs and have another 30 to go.  It's starting to come off a little slower than in the beginning, but all that means is it time for me to start adding a little exercise.
