Just a side note about Pine oil, which most know you can use to clean your cabinets... Pine was recommended by Hippocrates (the father of Western medicine) for its benefits to the respiratory system. Dr. Penoel and Dr. Franchomme described pine oil's antiseptic properties in their medical textbook. Pine is used in massage for stressed muscles and joints. It shares many of the same properties as Eucalyptus globulus and the action of both oils is enhanced when blended. Native Americans used pine to repel lice and fleas. It is added to baths to revitalize people suffering from mental or emotional fatigue!Here is a recipe for a "Natural Pine Sol" cleaner you can make!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Thieves Household Cleaner
- 10 drops Pine essential oil
- 10 drops Lemon essential oil
- 16 oz glass spray bottle
Instructions
- In a 16oz spray bottle, add castile soap or Thieves Household Cleaner.
- Add essential oils.
- Add water to fill up the bottle.
- Shake the bottle before each use.
- To use on wood or laminate floors, fill sink to halfway mark with warm water. Add castile soap or Thieves household cleaner, and essential oils. Mix well. Use with a mop to clean floors.To use on wood surfaces, spray on wood surfaces and use a microfiber cloth to wipe up dust, dirt and grime.

These two oils are famous for their anti-"everything" properties! Studies conducted at Weber State University in 1997 demonstrated the killing power of Thieves against airborne microorganisms. Did you know essential oils affect the emotional processing center of the brain? Clinical psychologists use oils to help clients regain emotional balance after they undergo stressful events and are still bothered by them. One of those psychologists is Dr. Benjamin Perkus who has developed a technique called the Aroma Freedom Technique (AFT). I'm going to lead a Zoom webinar and teach you the basic premise and how to do it for yourself.
March 14th (Thursday) at 2 pm MT, I will be hosting an AFT webinar. I will walk you through an AFT session. You won't have to share anything private, you don't have to tell us anything - but it will walk you through your emotional stuff. Please RSVP and I will send you the ZOOM link.
The oils recommended for this specific technique are:
1. For the beginning of the technique: Clarity, Inspiration, or Highest Potential (but you can do the technique without them)
2. The Memory Release blend: Equal Parts Stress Away, Frankincense, and Lavender .... instead you can use "Release" or "Inner Child"
