Just a side note about Pine oil, which most know you can use to clean your cabinets... Pine was recommended by Hippocrates (the father of Western medicine) for its benefits to the respiratory system. Dr. Penoel and Dr. Franchomme described pine oil's antiseptic properties in their medical textbook. Pine is used in massage for stressed muscles and joints. It shares many of the same properties as Eucalyptus globulus and the action of both oils is enhanced when blended. Native Americans used pine to repel lice and fleas. Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Thieves Household Cleaner
- 10 drops Pine essential oil
- 10 drops Lemon essential oil
- 16 oz glass spray bottle
Instructions
- In a 16oz spray bottle, add castile soap or Thieves Household Cleaner.
- Add essential oils.
- Add water to fill up the bottle.
- Shake the bottle before each use.
- To use on wood or laminate floors, fill sink to halfway mark with warm water. Add castile soap or Thieves household cleaner, and essential oils. Mix well. Use with a mop to clean floors.To use on wood surfaces, spray on wood surfaces and use a microfiber cloth to wipe up dust, dirt and grime.
