As I’m getting older I am having more aches and soreness from even just simple daily activities. Last year I experienced extreme soreness and pain in my right shoulder. I ended up having bursitis in the joint and even an injection into the joint to help with the stiffness and discomfort. I often have adverse reactions to even the most basic procedures and can be apprehensive when offered those solutions. I decided to try it as I had tried everything to ease the lack of mobility and pain. Well, I regretted that decision too! I had a very strange reaction to the injection to the point where I almost told Jordan to take me to the ER! I felt horrible, nauseous, lightheaded, and overwhelming feeling of sadness. I know super random and strange. I called the doctors office and relayed to them the symptoms and they didn’t have an answer. I decided to never get an injection into the joint again. I was referred to PT, which was the better choice as I had been babying my injury for months and needed some guidance for the types of movements I should be doing. I also added my own concoction of topical essential oil blend and started taking a supplement called BLM (bones, ligaments and muscles). After months of PT and only a couple of weeks of being on BLM I starting feeling a huge difference!
This experiences have been good for me. Hard, but good. If you are experiencing joint pain, soreness or discomfort I’ve got some recommendations for you!
BLM - for general, overall movement it’s a game changer and I only take a half dose right now!
Aminowise - aids in muscle recovery and it works! I used it during a hunting season and it really helped my muscles to not have the normal intense soreness.
Deep Relief Roll-on - this blend of oils really soothes those muscles.

When we’re feeling rushed sometimes simple things like doing 10 squats, wall or counter push-ups (my shoulders don’t like me from all the ranch work I’ve done), even having those bands you get from PT so you can do 10-20 reps with those throughout the day can be a game changer. Yesterday, my kids hopped on their bikes and road down the road and back! 🙌🏻 So proud of them. We are already a pretty active family, but there is something valuable about intentionally working our bodies so when we can’t get out for our normal activities we are maintaining our physical health. Not to mention mental health as well!

Now, how was your movement yesterday? Ours was good! I personally like to get in some weight lifting here and there as it strengthens my lower back, but sometimes we need to get our movement in where we can. We went down to the barn yesterday and while some kids rode the horses up, I walked up the steep driveway and then back down once we were done with our riding lesson. Some days you just seize the moments you can. One other thing I want to encourage everyone with is their water intake. It never hurts any of us to drink a little more water. I don’t do this every morning, but when I do I always feel much better. I like to get at least a quart in before my coffee, along with my supplements and my Ningxia Red. Great way to set myself up for getting movement in. What can you see yourself doing to help give you the energy you need to get out and move?

Some days when I decide to start something new I think I need an elaborate plan and need to make sure I have everything lined up before I invite people to join me. In reality, I should just start. Nothing against planning. I definitely need to work on planning but when it comes to deciding to start a movement group for only 14 days it is not rocket science and it shouldn’t be for you either! So, for Day one all you have to do is pick one thing to do. Take a look at the image below and it should give you some ideas if you don’t already know what you want to do.

Now, choose an activity and let us know in the comments what you chose and why you decided to just start.
