Customize more background colors in the landing pages

Some landing page templates have a black bar on the top and the bottom of them, like the "Side Form" template. Now, if you click the arrow next to the Settings button while editing the landing page and click to edit the background image and colors, it will allow you to change the colors of those bars.

Additionally, the mobile phone version of those landing templates has been improved. The phone version of those landing page templates looks much more like the large-screen version.

Apply tags and automations based on a plan when someone purchases access to a vault

Now, you can apply tags and automations based on a plan when someone purchases access to a vault. This allows you to automate providing different levels of service based on what plan that someone purchased or subscribed to.

To apply tags or an automation to specific plans in a vault, go to the Member Area menu and click on Vaults, then click the vault you want to apply this to, then click on the Payment Setup tab. When adding a new plan, there will be fields for tags and an automation (see below). If you have existing plans, you can add tags and automations there as well.

We hope you find this addition valuable to your business. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@GetOiling.com. Thank you!

See campaign open and click statistics

By popular request, now you can see the open and click rates of individual campaign messages over the lifetime of the campaign.

Go to the Campaigns menu item, then click on the Stats link next to the campaign you want to see the statistics for. Next, you'll see the statistics. For any message that has had at least one open or click, you can click the number to see who exactly opened or clicked a link in that message.

We hope you find this change helpful in being able to gain a deeper understanding of your email marketing efforts.

Use basic formatting and pretty links in discussion room posts

The discussion rooms in the GetOiling member area now allow you and those people in the room to use basic formatting and pretty links in the posts. This includes bold, italic, bulleted and numbered lists, and basic header formatting.  See below for what writing a post looks like now.

Additionally, the member area itself has an updated look and feel.

As always, if you have any questions or feedback, please reach out to support@GetOiling.com .  We hope this helps you and those people in your member area be more expressive and have a better experience.

Quantity-limited sales, private events, and parallax websites on phones

Three exciting announcements for today!

Quantity-Limited Purchases

There's now a way to sell items or event seats and put a limit on the number of items that can be purchased. In the page builder, click the Settings button and go to the Payments tab. Where the payment options are listed, there now is a Max # of Sales field. Leave it blank for unlimited sales (great for digital products) or if you have quantity limited items, such as events or inventory, put in a number and a tag. When someone visits the page to check out, it will look to see how many contacts are tagged with the tag that's associated with the payment option and will show the number remaining or prevent the person from purchasing if they aren't any remaining to purchase.

Private Events

The Events RSVP feature now has a way to hide events from the events list on your website by setting it to "direct link only".  There is a new field shown below when editing events. Choose "direct link only" and the event will only show up when you give someone the link. It won't show on the events list page.

Parallax on Phones

The parallax setting in the page builder now works on phones! Parallax is the scrolling effect where the background image scrolls at a different speed than the foreground content.  Below is a short animation showing how this can look, as an example. Previously parallax only worked on larger screen devices but now it works on phones, too, allowing you to expand your creativity when designing websites.

As always, we hope these changes allow you to get better results in growing your business. If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to support@GetOiling.com
