Is Motivation Real?

Feeling stuck and waiting for motivation to begin a new journey is a common experience. Often, our brains default to a "survival mode," keeping us within our comfort zones and holding us back from starting or finishing projects. Interestingly, emotions drive motivation, which means that taking action before feeling motivated can be the key to breaking free from this cycle.

To combat this natural tendency, consider embracing discomfort by taking action first, allowing growth and transformation to unfold. This proactive approach not only strengthens perseverance but also reveals capabilities we never knew existed. By pushing beyond these mental barriers, we can uncover incredible opportunities for personal development.

Take the opportunity to shake things up with the 30 Day Living Young Challenge or the 14 Day Reset. Push past your comfort zone and commit to a journey of growth and discovery. No need to wait for motivation—start now, and let's explore the possibilities together!

The Power of Gratitude – Transforming Your Spirit, Mind, and Body

Gratitude is a powerful force that connects us to something greater, bringing spiritual, emotional, and physical benefits. Spiritually, it draws us closer to God, helping us focus on blessings rather than shortcomings, as highlighted in scripture. Emotionally, regular gratitude practices can rewire the brain, reducing anxiety and boosting joy, enhancing relationships and resilience.

Physically, gratitude impacts our health by lowering blood pressure, improving sleep, and boosting immunity, fostering a deeper appreciation for our bodies. This practice encourages us to treat our bodies better, through movement and nourishment. Cultivating gratitude starts simply by acknowledging three things each day for which we are thankful—whether it's a cup of coffee or a kind word.

Incorporating gratitude into daily life transforms it from a fleeting feeling into a strengthening habit. By acknowledging the positive, we change our perspective and create a ripple effect through our spirit, mind, and body. Starting this practice today promises enriching, long-term rewards for overall well-being.

Surrendering to God’s Direction in the Face of Self-Doubt

Have you ever felt stuck—like self-doubt has paralyzed you? You have ideas, goals, and dreams, but every time you try to move forward, something holds you back. I’ve been there, and let me tell you: sometimes, what feels like paralysis is actually God trying to get our attention.

A few years ago, I was working with a business strategist, full of excitement and plans for how I could serve others. Then life threw me a curveball, and I couldn’t move forward. I felt stuck, frustrated, and defeated. Fast forward to this year, and I decided to revisit those plans. But every time I sat down to work on them, I felt frozen. No progress. No clarity.

Finally, I surrendered it all to God. I prayed, asking Him to guide me instead of trying to figure it out on my own. And something amazing happened. New ideas began to flow—ideas I hadn’t even considered before. These weren’t just good ideas; they were God-ordained solutions for the season I was in. They weren’t what I had planned, but they were exactly what I needed.

This experience taught me that self-doubt often arises when we rely too much on our own understanding. James 1:6-8 reminds us to ask for wisdom in faith, without doubting. When we trust God completely, He equips us with the clarity and courage we need to move forward.

Are you feeling stuck right now? Take a moment to pause and pray. Surrender your plans to God and invite the Holy Spirit to lead you. When you release control and trust in His timing, you’ll find freedom from the weight of self-doubt.

Self-doubt isn’t the end of the story—it’s an opportunity to realign with God’s purpose. When you let Him take the lead, you’ll discover that His plans are far better than anything you could have imagined.

Battling the Lies of Self-Doubt with God’s Truth

Let’s talk about self-love—something many of us struggle with. Somewhere along the way, we stop seeing ourselves the way God does. We start believing lies: “I’m not good enough,” “I’ll never measure up,” or “I don’t have what it takes.” These lies create a spiral of self-doubt, and before we know it, we’ve forgotten that we are wonderfully made by a loving Creator.

The root of self-doubt is often a spiritual battle. Satan loves to attack our minds, planting seeds of comparison, insecurity, and worthlessness. But here’s the truth: You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You were created by a loving God who sees your worth, even when you don’t.

How do we fight back against the lies? It starts with capturing our thoughts and aligning them with God’s Word. Philippians 4:8 gives us a blueprint: think about things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. When we focus on these things, we push out the negativity and invite God’s truth to take root.

Here’s a practical exercise to get started: reach out to a few friends or family members and ask them to share three things they love about you. Turn those traits into affirmations, like “I am compassionate,” or “I am strong.” Write them down on a notecard or in your phone and repeat them to yourself twice a day. Yes, it might feel awkward at first, but the goal is to replace self-doubt with God’s truth.

Remember, loving yourself isn’t selfish—it’s biblical. Matthew 22:37-39 reminds us to love God, love others, and love ourselves. When we have a healthy, God-centered love for ourselves, we’re better equipped to love others.

Take this challenge: start identifying and affirming the God-given qualities within you. When your thoughts align with God’s, you’ll begin to see yourself the way He does: as a masterpiece, designed for a purpose.

Overcoming Self-Doubt by Trusting God’s Power

Do you ever feel paralyzed by self-doubt, questioning whether you’re good enough, capable enough, or strong enough to fulfill your purpose? If so, you’re not alone. But here’s the truth: God’s power is more than enough for whatever He’s called you to do.

Proverbs 16:3 gives us this encouragement: “Commit your works to the Lord, and He will establish your plans.” So often, we try to do things in our own strength, leaning on our limited abilities instead of relying on the limitless power of God. It’s exhausting, isn’t it? But when we surrender our plans and let God lead, something amazing happens. He provides clarity, confidence, and the tools we need to thrive.

This process of surrender is what the Bible describes as “dying to self.” It’s about letting go of our striving and allowing God’s greatness to shine through. Philippians 4:8 reminds us to fix our thoughts on things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. When we meditate on these things—on God’s truth—our doubts begin to fade.

Self-doubt thrives when we forget who we are in Christ. The Holy Spirit is our helper, our guide, and our source of power. Through Him, we have everything we need to overcome fear, hesitation, and uncertainty.

If you’re feeling stuck today, take a step back and surrender your doubts to God. Commit your plans to Him, and ask for His wisdom. Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts and actions. Let go of the impossible standards you’ve set for yourself and rest in the truth that God’s plans for you are good. He’s equipping you to fulfill your calling—not in your strength, but in His.

Trusting God with your plans doesn’t mean you’ll never face challenges, but it does mean you’ll never face them alone. His power is perfected in your weakness, and He’s ready to lead you into a life of purpose, confidence, and peace.

Meet Jeana Ford

For several years we battled a life of constant sickness with our first daughter.
Two respiratory viruses lead to lots and lots of aggravation and every time the wind blew we were using steroids, nebulizers, several allergy medications, and even frequent antibiotics.  We were at the Doctor’s office at least every 3 months with something.   It was draining, I was stressed, and her dad who is military was working away from home more than he was home.   Which lead to sleepless nights and a lost job because I was missing days trying to care for my little one.
After a very scary night and ER visit with her having irregular heartbeats from all the medication, this mama said a very desperate and heartfelt prayer for healing.
What happened next was nothing short of a miracle.   Over the next few months, we were presented with 2 very important things that changed all of our lives.
One of the answers that came was products I had never even thought would be used for healing.  I dove headfirst into the research and just trusted this was the direction our Heavenly Father was leading us in.
The company we found to have the best products  had a very good reputation and story after story was saying these things had worked for many others too.
It worked…. We made changes in our nutrition. We added in these amazing resources we had been introduced to and within 6 months to 1 year not only was our daughter completely healed but my husband and I both saw huge benefits.
From balanced hormones to no more seasonal sniffles we were living our best lives.
Over the years since then, we have encountered other obstacles on our journey of health.   For every single thing that comes up we start with the foundations we learned during this time.  Today we continue to be empowered by these tools to live healthy lives.

Now I mentor those who are on a mission to  Love Their Families to Health by transitioning from sick care mentality to developing preventative care systems  and protocols that lead to habits that achieve happier, healthier and more wholesome lifestyles even if they feel unequipped or don't know where to start .   I even became a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach to gain even more knowledge and skills to help my family and yours.  Are you ready to be an empowered gatekeeper of your home?   Are you ready to learn how to love your family to health?  Contact me to learn more
