I have been on my own personal healing journey for 13 years and I have tried many different modalities to find something that works effectively on PTSD and childhood trauma.
I was introduced by a friend to AFT and it aligned well with what I understood about how the brain works with processing trauma. I love essential oils and have worked with them for many years.
I love the combination of the essential oils and the process of accessing the memories and releasing the emotional charge at the source of the issue. I have found this way of processing to be highly effective and efficient, compared to many other things I have tried. I personally found talk therapy highly traumatising in contrast to AFT. I have never come away from an AFT session traumatized.
I really appreciate Mischa’s gentle and accepting way of helping me move through my process.
I recently had some suppressed memories emerge that were really disturbing, I usually try to process myself, however this needed extra help.
After the session I noticed that I was able to function at a higher level, usually I operate like a zombie for a while after a new memory pops up.
When I thought about the memory, I didn't have the reaction of horror, disgust, self hatred, guilt and shame.
There wasn't an emotional charge there. Just peace.
I also noticed an improvement in my energy and my view of the world and people changed and shifted. I noticed that I was more accepting of myself and of other people. I noticed that I was more open and curious about what I could learn and appreciate about people I previously dismissed as uninteresting. Clearly there has been a huge shift in my perception of many things and I cannot relate all of them.
If you are considering trying AFT I would encourage you to do it and continue doing it as your life will continue to improve in quality the more old material from the past that you work through. Mischa is a compassionate supportive Coach through this process. Thanks Mischa for your kindness and love. - TS
