CHANGE IS HARD!! It’s so much easier to remain where you are, just floating along allowing Life to Just Happen. It takes extra effort to create something different. Maybe you want to lose some weight. It will take getting physically active and being mindful of what you put in your mouth. Maybe you want a job promotion, but you’ll have to take extra classes or work extra hours to be considered. Maybe you want to change your mindset, your perspective, your self-talk. That will take lots of consistency and discipline.
Is it Worth It?
Think of where you were 10 years ago, maybe even just 5 years ago. Has your situation improved, gotten worse, is it exactly the same? I hope it’s improved, but if not consider this:
Do you want your situation to change?
Are you committed to the work it will take to create change?
Think of the next 5-10 years. How do you feel about the idea of being exactly where you are now?
Imagine yourself having lost the extra weight. Think of how much more energy you’d have. Maybe being able to stop taking medication and just living with more Vitality!
Imagine if you got that promotion this year and how it could impact your life and your family’s life. How would your life look 5 years from now?
Imagine changing YOU, your thought patterns, your reactions, your mindset. What would the NEW YOU look like or act like a year from now?
Would the work be worth it?
Absolutely!!
I don’t know about you, but I LOVE SUNSETS! It amazes me how vibrant and colorful the sky can get. I grew up near the beach in Florida on the Gulf Coast, so I’ve seen my share of gorgeous sunsets. It was quite common to take a drive to the beach after dinner, walk along the water line and watch the big fireball sink into the Gulf.
I’ve been away from Florida now for 30 years and upon moving to Texas a few years ago, I’ve come to fall in love with the sunset again. They just seem more breath taking in the southern states.
Sunrises and Sunsets are beautiful examples of do-overs, new beginnings, 2nd chances. Wrapping up what was and stepping into a new journey. Each day brings a new opportunity to improve on yesterday. As we do this we must shake off regrets and failures of yesterday, learning from them, but not letting them control us or hold us back. We must FORGIVE OURSELVES!
“You did what you knew how to do and when you knew better, you did better” – Maya Angelou
Are you holding a grudge against yourself? Unforgiveness is anger. Holding on to anger can actually create dis-ease in the body. You MUST RELEASE it! Ways to do so include Emotional Clearing, Essential Oils & Cord Cutting, to name a few
The Bible says, "The Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive." This goes for yourself and others. Each morning upon sunrise, God gives you another blank canvas to work on. Commit to painting that day with Feelings of Love, Actions that serve, and Positive Effects that last so that when sunset comes you can look back at your day with Pride, Accomplishment & Contentment.
Since then, I have learned techniques to help clear emotional baggage. I also use my essential oils and other things to balance emotions and support my body. I'm not saying it will keep me from ever getting sick, but at least I'm doing what I can.
Daily affirmations can help in clearing the toxic emotional blocks. Pure essential oils, like Young Living Essential Oils can be used to support your body's systems and organs while supporting balanced emotions.
