Lets Talk Fibromyalgia!
Monday was a hard day. I had a small flair up of Fibromyalgia. I am not allowed to say to much because of the FDA, but I am allowed to give my testimony. Here goes...

When I was about 44 I had surgery twice in one year.  One surgery was a hysterectomy. After the surgery, I just did not feel well even after 6 months. I experieced alot of pelvic pain. So I went to a pelvic pain clinic and was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, As time went on I sought help from a more natural doctor. It was a game changer for me. The doctor put me on Flexril and a natural supplement. I learned to control Fibroymyalgia with exercise and an occasional use of an over the counter anti-inflammatory.  It really helped and after a year was able to handle it on my own, for a while. My doctor moved and there was not one like him in town. So....I began years of trying even more herbs, tea's etc.. Then 13 years later I began using Young Living Essential Oils. I began to build my immune system and to strengthen my body. After a few years I began to use Young Living's CBD oil and a supplement called Agilease. I developed a little different routine. I have done well. Just in case some of you are interested in my routine, contact me and I will share it with you.

Also, let me say this. There are many synthetic drugs to deal with this. I chose a more natural route because of the side effects of these drugs. I also had many friends who had taken these drugs and they encouraged me not to take them. These drugs caused weight gain and were very hard to get off of. Just a heads up!

I feel like my flair up today was from lack of sleep. Sleep is a big factor in Fibromyalgia. We have no air conditioner upstairs where we sleep. This past week the heat has been bad and I have not slept well. We got a portable air conditioner for our bed room and we slept well lfor the first night in a while. I hadbeen tired all day with extra overall pain. I actually laid down Monday afternoon and slept for 2 hours.

I will start my routine today to get the overall pain in control and work on a good nights sleep. If any of you have questions or need help please contact me. I would love to help.

I learned how to enjoy life over 50......

Turning 40 was a magical age for me. I was at an age where life was easy. I enjoyed scrapbooking and crafting with my friends, homeschooling my son and serving alongside my husband in our local church. Even though I was overweight I looked good and felt good. But within a few short years my health changed dramatically. I developed respiratory issues, pelvic pain, and a chronic disorder characterized by “widespread muscle pain with fatigue and tenderness”.  Occasional anxiety set in. My decline really affected my ability to be creative, to minister effectively in my church and to function at home.

I suffered through a hysterectomy and many doctors visits. A change in seasons would send me in a painful roller coaster of antibiotics and steroids. Spending a whole day in bed became normal.  Age 50 came quickly with no lasting solutions.

Eventually I began to explore and research natural remedies. Something I was not taught in my younger years was lifestyle.  I considered that maybe my lifestyle was contributing to my health issues and my emotions.

One day I was venting my frustration to a friend who had been battling some of  the same chronic issues. We talked about some of the natural solutions I had read about. One of the  solutions she had used and had some great results with. I became instantly interested.

That is when my real life changing journey began. I found a solution that has contributed to a healthy lifestyle and brought about the quality of life I was looking for.  It is my mission to share with mature women, how to embrace the enjoyment of life over 50.
