Loyality Rewards and a Warning!

Loyality Rewards and a Warning!
Good News! You can order the NEW products from Convention on your Loyalty Rewards order. We have some GREAT products for you to purchase. I love the NEW Frankincense and the New look of the Thieves Cleaner. Grab all the NEW products!

In my last Newsletter I mentioned an outbreak of Covid. Well as each day has gone on I have more and more friends who have it or have had it.  For many, this is the 3rd or 4th time to have had Covid.  And the weird thing about this outbreak is, the side effects have been much worse. I have not resorted to wearing a mask but I am spraying my body with thieves spray and wearning my Germ Fighting Salve. Hopefully Exodus II will be back in stock this winter. It is a main ingredient in the salve. I would grab several bottles. Covid is a flu. Protect yourself as you would from the flu.

Stocking up for my wellness cabinet for Winter..........will share what is in it later.....

Young Living Convention and New Product!

Young Living Convention and New Product!
Young Living had it's Convention last week. They came out with some great new products to enhance your Young Living experience. Of course my favorites is the Deep Spectra Frankincense. This Frankincense is the strongest on the market. You cannot diffuse it. It is designed to add to your favorite drink, Ninxgia Red or in a capsule. This oil is designed to support a healthy immune system and help with inflammatory issues. I take Frankincense eveyday to stay healthy.

Young Living is also giving our Thieves Cleaner a NEW Look and a lower price. Also, New customers get 15% off their order of NEW products till the end of the month.  All the products are available for a one time order. Hopefully soon you can order them on a Loyality order. I have included a picture of all the NEW products. You can also see them on my Joy and Myrrh page on Facebook.

Covid Update! Besides Joe Biden I have had several friends with Covid. Those of you who use the Germ Fighting Salve may want to begin wearing it now.  I have started wearing it to the Y and some smaller events I attend.  Winter will be here in about 4 months. Begin planning now! What is in your wellness cabinet for winter?

Getting Back to Basics!

Getting Back to Basics!
The past 3 months have been difficult. I was found to have some calcium build-up in 2 arteries and my A1C is still not low enough. My cardiologist put me on a series of statin drugs with which I did not do well. I quit taking them. Then my general practitioner perscribed  2  different drugs to lower my blood sugar. Again I did not do well with either one. So after suffering from what I feel was close to a migraine from one of the blood sugar medicines, I decided it was time to get back to the basics. No more drugs for me. I began  with my oils....MGrain and Stress Away for my headache plus Seasonal Essentials for my allergies. I also used some Palo Santo outside my ears to help with the headache. I applied the Mgrain and Stress Away every hour till the headache subsided. I also took a class on lowering my A1C naturally. I did discover several  low carb or Keto  foods that I thought were blood sugar friendly were actually raising my blood sugar. I made some diet changes. I also dicovered that Cortisol raises blood sugar. So I am now taking Cortistop by Young Living. I am also taking Berberine which is a natural supplement that  helps lower my blood sugar.

There are drugs for Coronary Artery Disease that do not have side effects. But the drug my doctor called in was $178 and not covered by my insurance. So my doctor is making an appeal to Blue Cross because I cannot take statin drugs. In the meatime I am taking a supplement called Cardiogize which has Vitamin K and K2 which is good for my arteries. Fortunately my calcium buildup is low and not dangerous.

Getting back to basics for me is moving away from some synthetic drugs and embracing  more natural supplements. I talk with so many people who are taking synthetic drugs and really do not feel good. For some reason they do not ask for an alternative or are to afraid to treat it naturally. Sometimes getting back to basics means starting over and assing how you feel. Are there any changes you can make to enhance your health?  Maybe it is time for you to get back to basics....

Are you a Trendy Shopper?

Are you a Trendy Shopper?
Question! Are you a Trendy shopper? Lets explore a few trends going on. Right now, Stanley drink cups are all the rage. Not sure why because they have been around a long time. Then you have the Large Rubber Beach totes. Many of my friends own them and love them. And of course the ever popular synthetic weight loss drug "Ozempic". It is  all the rage wlth celebrities as they try to maintain a size 2 figure. So, years ago essential oils were all the rage. To be honest it took me a year to hop onto the bandwagon. But once I tried them I realized why they were so popular. Natural health trends seem to come and go. I have watched people drop essential oils and move onto collagen.  For the past year the talk has been companies selling collagen and collagen based products. Some of these products have really helped people. So it was not a surprise to me when I see people hopping onto the newest trend of "mushrooms" and "mushroom" supplement /extracts. Now, I will be honest I do not know much about mushroom supplements. I understand that these supplements are great as brain food. And honestly unless Young Living comes out with something containing mushrooms I will probably never try it. There is also mushroom coffee. Ugh!

So why have I stuck with Young Living and essential oils for so long? Honestly their essential oils work. I love the smells {well there are a few my nose cannot handle) and how they support every system of my body. I love all the Thieves products. Using Thieves cleaning products makes my home smell GREAT. Thieves products keep me safe from many seasonal "bugs". And of course I have a GREAT affection for Ninxgia Red and Ninxgia Greens. Essential oils give me emotional, and sleep support. The list of support could go on....and on.

So are you a Trendy shopper? Do you try all the NEW health products coming out? What about collagen and mushrooms? Are Essential oils a thing of the past? Lets talk! Inquiring minds want to know.....

I learned how to enjoy life over 50......

Turning 40 was a magical age for me. I was at an age where life was easy. I enjoyed scrapbooking and crafting with my friends, homeschooling my son and serving alongside my husband in our local church. Even though I was overweight I looked good and felt good. But within a few short years my health changed dramatically. I developed respiratory issues, pelvic pain, and a chronic disorder characterized by “widespread muscle pain with fatigue and tenderness”.  Occasional anxiety set in. My decline really affected my ability to be creative, to minister effectively in my church and to function at home.

I suffered through a hysterectomy and many doctors visits. A change in seasons would send me in a painful roller coaster of antibiotics and steroids. Spending a whole day in bed became normal.  Age 50 came quickly with no lasting solutions.

Eventually I began to explore and research natural remedies. Something I was not taught in my younger years was lifestyle.  I considered that maybe my lifestyle was contributing to my health issues and my emotions.

One day I was venting my frustration to a friend who had been battling some of  the same chronic issues. We talked about some of the natural solutions I had read about. One of the  solutions she had used and had some great results with. I became instantly interested.

That is when my real life changing journey began. I found a solution that has contributed to a healthy lifestyle and brought about the quality of life I was looking for.  It is my mission to share with mature women, how to embrace the enjoyment of life over 50.
