Are you a Trendy Shopper?
Question! Are you a Trendy shopper? Lets explore a few trends going on. Right now, Stanley drink cups are all the rage. Not sure why because they have been around a long time. Then you have the Large Rubber Beach totes. Many of my friends own them and love them. And of course the ever popular synthetic weight loss drug "Ozempic". It is  all the rage wlth celebrities as they try to maintain a size 2 figure. So, years ago essential oils were all the rage. To be honest it took me a year to hop onto the bandwagon. But once I tried them I realized why they were so popular. Natural health trends seem to come and go. I have watched people drop essential oils and move onto collagen.  For the past year the talk has been companies selling collagen and collagen based products. Some of these products have really helped people. So it was not a surprise to me when I see people hopping onto the newest trend of "mushrooms" and "mushroom" supplement /extracts. Now, I will be honest I do not know much about mushroom supplements. I understand that these supplements are great as brain food. And honestly unless Young Living comes out with something containing mushrooms I will probably never try it. There is also mushroom coffee. Ugh!

So why have I stuck with Young Living and essential oils for so long? Honestly their essential oils work. I love the smells {well there are a few my nose cannot handle) and how they support every system of my body. I love all the Thieves products. Using Thieves cleaning products makes my home smell GREAT. Thieves products keep me safe from many seasonal "bugs". And of course I have a GREAT affection for Ninxgia Red and Ninxgia Greens. Essential oils give me emotional, and sleep support. The list of support could go on....and on.

So are you a Trendy shopper? Do you try all the NEW health products coming out? What about collagen and mushrooms? Are Essential oils a thing of the past? Lets talk! Inquiring minds want to know.....

I learned how to enjoy life over 50......

Turning 40 was a magical age for me. I was at an age where life was easy. I enjoyed scrapbooking and crafting with my friends, homeschooling my son and serving alongside my husband in our local church. Even though I was overweight I looked good and felt good. But within a few short years my health changed dramatically. I developed respiratory issues, pelvic pain, and a chronic disorder characterized by “widespread muscle pain with fatigue and tenderness”.  Occasional anxiety set in. My decline really affected my ability to be creative, to minister effectively in my church and to function at home.

I suffered through a hysterectomy and many doctors visits. A change in seasons would send me in a painful roller coaster of antibiotics and steroids. Spending a whole day in bed became normal.  Age 50 came quickly with no lasting solutions.

Eventually I began to explore and research natural remedies. Something I was not taught in my younger years was lifestyle.  I considered that maybe my lifestyle was contributing to my health issues and my emotions.

One day I was venting my frustration to a friend who had been battling some of  the same chronic issues. We talked about some of the natural solutions I had read about. One of the  solutions she had used and had some great results with. I became instantly interested.

That is when my real life changing journey began. I found a solution that has contributed to a healthy lifestyle and brought about the quality of life I was looking for.  It is my mission to share with mature women, how to embrace the enjoyment of life over 50.
