About Patty

Welcome to A Breath of Fresh Air!

Hi, I'm so happy you are here! My name is Patty and I'm a wife, mom, grandma, animal lover, massage therapist, and essential oil enthusiast. My first experience with essential oils was when I was going to school for massage therapy. I was at the supply store, and they had all of these little tester bottles of essential oils. I knew absolutely nothing about them, but I picked a couple of bottles based on just the scent. I admit, I didn't even have a diffuser for them, so I went home and put them in a wickless candle burner with water and the little tea light underneath. I loved the scent filling my home. I still did not know that essential oils had therapeutic properties.

Then I met a woman who worked with Young Living essential oils. She introduced me to Clove essential oil. My mom had arthritis really bad, and the woman told me that it helped to support people who have pain from arthritis. I used it on my mom's knees and asked her the next day how her knees felt. She said whatever I had put on her made them feel so much better. You know what I did? I called that lady up and told her I was going to need a few more bottles.

In April of 2011 I finally signed up with Young Living. I began trying new oils and learning about how they can support us during all of our life moments. I went all in and started trying different essential oils and blends, then I started using the Thieves Toothpaste and mouthwash, then the Art Facial Cleanser and the mint facial scrub, the Thieves Household Cleaner and Laundry Detergent and the list goes on.

Today both in my massage practice and in my personal life, I am focused on creating balance, managing stress, keeping overwhelm at bay, living a life I love, using personal care and cleaning product that are not filled with toxic chemicals, and helping others through massage, self-care, and product that can support them in their personal life journey. I will be creating blog posts about managing stress, dealing with overwhelm and creating the lives we want. I will introduce you to essential oils and other products. Provide you with education on how to use essential oils safely and what each oil is about. We are a community and if we stand together and lean on each other for support, advice, and sharing our own experiences with each other, there is nothing we can't get through.

I hope you will stick around and watch this site grow, join our community of likeminded individuals who are looking to create life that feels more in balance than not, is enjoyable and supports us in all of our healthy goals.
