Dangers of Energy drinks, for kids and adults..
It is such a big craze to drink energy drinks! We are all exhausted and can't seem to get enough energy to get through the day. We fall back on high octane coffee, sugar, and anything that will give us the energy to finish out the day or to make that long drive.
The average cost of energy drinks are anywhere from $1.50-$3.50 but at what cost to your health? An average cost of a Grande Latte at Starbucks is $3.65. Ningixa Nitro has a cost of $3.43 per serving and gives you long lasting energy for an entire day and supports a healthy body without the harmful affects of high sugar, high caffeine drinks! It can be used daily for adrenal support and energy or when needed for those days when you have more on your plate than you can handle and need that extra pick me up without compromising your health.
Energy drinks have many dangers, and here are just a few.....
Dehydration - even coffee and tea are dehydrating, and you should up your water intake for every cup of coffee you drink.

Dr. Oz has stated...We found that a 5-ounce bottle of Monster Energy M-3 Super Concentrate contained 206 mg of caffeine and 5-Hour Energy contained about the same amount but in just 2 ounces, meaning that 5-Hour Energy is even more concentrated than Monster. In comparison, a full 8-ounce cup of regular brewed coffee has just 95 milligrams of caffeine. Ounce-for-ounce, the caffeine in 5-Hour Energy is 9 times as concentrated as in coffee.
Over the course of a full day, these amounts, and even up to 300 mg of caffeine can be fine. You’d be drinking about 3 cups of coffee, sipping here and there, so you’re getting a gradual rise in caffeine as well as eliminating some of it. The problem with the shot is that you are getting over two-thirds of that daily amount all at once, which can be a jolt to the system. And since it’s such a small amount of liquid, you may be inclined to drink more than one bottle. Drink two little bottles and you’ve just downed 415 mg of caffeine.

Another month has come and gone - we are that much closer to warm nights filled with the glow of fireflies and the smell of BBQ cooking on the grill. We also get to celebrate the father figures in our lives - the biological ones AND the honorary ones! So grab your oils, kick the diffuser on, and start your month off with some fresh scents.
Idaho Blue Spruce and Shutran blend are both amazing oils for the men in your life. Taking Idaho Blue Spruce vitality in a capsule daily, helps your man or teen boy feel more manly, more centered, stronger and more confident, less despondent, as it works to help support the male hormonal system. My top oil picks for June!!!!
ROMAN CHAMOMILE essential oil
This month I want to talk about Roman Chamomile essential oil. I am currently growing this in my garden and I love harvesting the flowers about every two weeks and drying them for a warm cup of chamomile tea during the winter months. Its a wonderful way to relax before bed!
Roman Chamomile essential oil is many times more powerful than its dried herb counterpart, and steam distilled from the flower tops. It is used widely in Europe for skin regeneration. For many many centuries, mothers have used chamomile for children who are upset and hard to calm, to help soothe digestive upset, discomfort in the teeth and gums and support a healthy liver.
Roman Chamomile oil is wonderful to help children and adults who have a hard time focusing. It is not only calming and relaxing, soothing to stressful situations and the nervous system, it is also wonderful to stabilize emotions, and help release emotions that are linked to the past and to dispel anger!
I love to put 5-8 drops down the spine before bed to help with a great nights sleep or to add 2 drops to a facial lotion or serum to aide in beautiful skin or irritation!
PINE essential oil
The history behind Pine is interesting. It was first investigated by the father of Western medicine Hippocrates for its wonderful benefits for the respiratory system. It shares many of the same properties as Eucalyptus Globulus. BEWARE of pine oils adulterated with turpentine, a low-cost, but potentially hazardous filler.
In 1990, Dr. Penoel and Dr. Frankchomme described Pine oil as having antiseptic properties in their medical textbook. Many use it for soothing relief for muscles and joints! Native Americans were known to stuff their mattresses with pine needles to repel lice and fleas. According to historical articles, it is hormone like and cortizone-like. It is used widely to support healthy respiratory and sinus function, muscles and joints and a healthy urinary tract!
It is a very emotionally calming oil, so its beneficial to add to the diffuser to bring calm to a room, add to a bath and to revitalize emotional fatigue. It is wonderful to roll on the bottom of your feet daily to keep your family healthy and well!
I love to keep a few bottles on hand for all the things that happen in life! Pine oil is definitely part of my emergency wellness kit!

Wow - I can’t believe we are already 5 months into the new year! Summer will be here before we know it. This newsletter includes some recipes to help you breathe easier as the seasons change and the grasses and flowers create itchy eyes and noses! We have you covered!
Seasonal Discomfort Blend = This combination is loved and used by so many in Young Living. Young and old! Remember, children under the age of 3 do not need to ingest oils, but for children ages 4 and up, and adults, this is a great combination to help you breathe easier during the changing seasons.
4-5 drops of Lemon vitality, 4-5 drops of Peppermint vitality, 4-5 drops of Lavender vitality combined in an empty gelatin capsule or tsp of raw honey and take internally every 4 hours or as needed. You can also diffuse the same amount in your diffuser at night for those who have a hard time breathing easy at night when the seasons are changing. If you have tried this or will be trying it, I would love to hear your feedback!
I hope you also will stock up on Summer favorites before there is an out of stock issue. Purification blend is a must have for any outdoor activity during the summer. From the bug bites to keeping the bugs away, this is a must have to apply to your skin either in a spray bottle or topically on any bites that you endure while hiking or playing at the park. This blend is also great to have on hand to apply to our lymph nodes when you are not feeling your best, to use as an emergency deodorant, or to help you feel better quickly when you are not feeling our best. I love to put it on my kids feet daily and to always keep with us when we go on summer picnics or hikes. It is also great to put 5 drops in your laundry detergent when washing the stinkiest of clothes or diffuse 8 drops when you cook fish or burn dinner and need to get that odor out of the kitchen. It is a year around must have oil!
Do you have Claraderm or Lavaderm for your sun kissed skin? For a healthy feminine wash? For irritated skin that needs a little TLC? These two are must haves for anyone that enjoys the outdoors, or wants healthy skin! I love to use the Claraderm for emergencies and encourage new mamas to use it after childbirth in the most sensitive of areas for soothing relief and quick repair.
My emotional oil of choice this month is Sacred Mountain. If you have never tried this blend before, it was developed by Gary Young to bring him back to the serenity of the Idaho Mountains where he grew up. When Young Living expanded and Gary had to move to the burbs of Utah, he wanted an oil to bring him back mentally to the calming place of the Idaho Mountains. We all know how relaxing and serine it is to walk through the forest, and this blend helps calm the nervous system and bring peace to the mind and body. It contains Black Spruce, Ylang Ylang, Balsam Fir, Cedarwood. I love to apply it to my wrists and behind my ears as a perfume to help me stay balanced and calm during the crazy days we experience. I would love to hear if you enjoy this blend!
Please also note that you can use your oils to keep your pets healthy and pest free this summer. There is a spray blend below that is wonderful to spray on your pet Or person, before you go outside. I do this daily and have had great success over the years. Our Animal Scents ointment is also a miracle worker for your pets skin and any surface injury they incur. What is great about this ointment is that it is safe and effective and much loved by humans too. I love to use it for dried skin, rough heals, and even as the base for a nose swab ointment when traveling to protect the nasal cavity when wellness is a must.
