March is here and we are doing this newsletter is a little different this month!  I wanted to highlight some important products and share some hope for those that have been financially devastated this past year!  I pray for your health, your family and the coming days ahead of 2021.

Do you struggle with drinking enough water?  My mom used to tell us to drink water first if we had a headache or were constipated, and if that didn't take care of it then she would take the next steps, but her first words were always "first, drink more water".  Its always proven to be great advice!  
Water is used for temperature regulation, waste removal, cellular function and clarity of thought.  With our body being made up of over 70% water, it is critical that we focus on getting enough for our kids and ourselves!  I love organic coffee but we all know coffee is dehydrating, so my rule is for every cup of coffee I have, I make sure that I drink two cups of water.  Its a good compromise.

Oil-Infused All-Heart Cookies

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups organic evaporated cane juice crystals
  • 3 eggs
  • 1-3 drops Vitality oil of choice (Orange, Lime, Ginger, Cinnamon Bark, etc.)
  • 3 cups sifted Einkorn Flour (or Organic Flour of choice)
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon milk of your choice
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 heart-shaped cookie cutter

 

Cream the butter and cane juice crystals together until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and essential oil. Beat well. Sift together the Einkorn Flour and baking powder. Add to the creamed mixture. Add the milk and vanilla. Mix well. Cover and chill for 1–2 hours. Grease baking sheet and preheat oven to 400º Fahrenheit. Roll dough 1/4-inch thick and cut with heart-shaped cookie cutter dipped in flour. Place on greased baking sheet and bake for 6–8 minutes. Enjoy!

One Heart - this is my favorite from this years Convention!  I am so excited to get another bottle of this beautiful blend to help with emotional connections to those we love.  It is soothing and relaxing and connecting in nature!  
Ylang Ylang is amazing for helping with healthy blood pressure.  I love to add the Vitality to a capsule (5 drops) two to three times a day.  It is also soothing and calming to the emotions and is also wonderful for those romantic feelings in the bedroom!  Diffuse it with Orange as you and your mate retreat to the bedroom!  
Patchouli is a very misunderstood oil.  There are many knock off brands of this oil that have a very negative smell because of the lack of purity.  In my experience, either people love this oil or hate it.  I love to use it on my kids when they are struggling with feelings of bitterness.  The smell can be hard to take on its own in the diffuser or in a roller ball so I love to mix it with citrus oils which are very calming and supportive to our cells.  Lime always smells great when I mix them together! 
Stress Away does not need any explaining.  The past year and a half for many this has been their go-to oil.  I love to diffuse it in equal parts or make a roller ball with the oil of JOY to create a calming and uplifting atmosphere when the family is struggling in all areas.  It is exceptionally good to apply multiple times a day before the negative feelings start! 
Sacred Frankincense is the number one oil I would request if I could only have one.  It is not only emotionally balancing after trauma, it is wonderful also for cellular integrity!  This bottle is precious so to help it stretch I would add 5-10 drops to a roller ball with Ylang Ylang, Orange and Stress Away to create an Emotional blend to help keep emotions in check!  Look it up in your desk reference, it has hundreds of uses from supporting beautiful skin to helping deal with the hard emotions in life.

We use all of these in our house and love them.  Have you tried any of these?
MANUKA  is similar to Tea Tree but warmer and richer. It has been used for many years for support of the skin, feet and hair!  🦶 
Some studies suggest it is more potent than Tea Tree in creating a hostile environment to b@cteria, vir@s and fungus! 
Manuka is the Maori name for the bushy tree from which the oil is produced!
MASTRANTE

Orange is wonderful to help support healthy and positive emotions, and lower the cortisol levels during times of angst.   It is also wonderful to add to your moisturizer during winter months when there isn’t a lot of sun for beautiful skin. (Don’t use citrus oils when you go out in the sun during the summer, they will cause your skin to burn faster).

 So many people right now are struggling with the emotional toll of this year and I encourage you to reach out if you need to talk to someone, if you need prayer, and to use the oils you have to help get through the rough days.  My favorites from the kit for emotional stability are Valor, Peace and Calming, Frankincense, Lavender and Citrus Fresh.  I love to diffuse them, roll them on my wrists and just open the bottles and smell them many times a day to get through the rough patches.  The oils I go to outside of the kit are Kidpower, Sacred Mountain, Northern Lights Black Spruce, and Orange.  They are all very calming oils and help when the days are getting overwhelming. Use the oils hourly if need be, apply on the back of the neck, down the spine, on the temples, on the wrists and over the heart!

How to get through emotional times using your essential oils!

You are receiving this newsletter because you are part of our Young Living organization.  This is NOT a solicitation but monthly education and updates for our group members.
As we gather around the table this month we get to focus on all the things we are grateful for. I am incredibly thankful for my family, my home, and of course my oils! How about you? I would love to hear! I think our world could always use a little positivity spread around, don’t you think? 
EMOTIONS and Essential Oils
With the stress of the nation, I hope you are using your oils for emotional comfort  daily.  In my home, I practice preventative care for our emotions by using calming oils for stress support every few hours  to help calm the emotional storm before it arrives. I love to put a roller fitment (in your back office for SHOP order only) on my favorite stress blend (Frankincense and Orange) or mix 10 drops of each in a rollerball with a organic carrier oil and apply to the back of my neck, my temples, on my wrists and behind my ears. Using these methods helps save on cost and help the oils last longer.  Essential Oils are one of the few substances that can cross the blood brain barrier and affect great change and restoration in the brain and on our emotions.  Pure essential oils have an incredible ability to penetrate cell membranes through blood and tissue.  The Lipid-soluble structure of essential oils is very similar to the makeup of our cell membranes and the molecules of essential oils are very small which help them with the ability to penetrate into the cells.  When you apply a drop of pure essential oil on your skin, it is in every cell of your body within minutes.  When you inhale a pure essential oil, it affects the limbic region of the brain where emotional memories are stored.  The limbic system is directly connected to those parts of the brain that control heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, memory, hormone balance, stress levels, and smelling a pure, unadulterated essential oil can have a profound physiological and psychological effect.  
If you are not sure what oils to use, reach out to myself or the person who signed you up and we would love to give you our top suggestions on how to help you and your kids daily and through the holidays with our favorite oils for emotional care. Fun Fact:  Frankincense is the number one oil used for emotional trauma and has an incredible ability to not only support a healthy immune system, beautiful and youthful skin but also calm the nervous system and emotions!  Frankincense comes in your Premium starter kit and is a beautiful oil to apply from newborns to the elderly daily!  Again a rollerball with an organic carrier oil helps distribute the oils farther and helps save a great deal of money for those more precious oils!

From Brokenness to Joy!

 
Welcome!  It is my pleasure to share my story with you and welcome you to the incredible world of Young Living Essential Oils.  
My family consists of myself and my children some of whom have already started their own families.  We started our oily journey about 14 years ago at a time in our life when we desperately needed some calm and Joy!  Have you ever been there?    A friend of mine had invited me to a class to learn about these oils and I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I just knew that my biggest need at the time was to calm some hurting hearts after some major emotional upsets in our home and family life.  Lots of loss and trauma left us with many emotional scars.  The first oil I was introduced to was the oil of "Joy" and it truly just changed the temperature in our home.  Kids were smiling more, laughing more and loosening up!  As a mom, I loved seeing those changes so I continued to investigate and dug in deep to researching all I could about Young Living  oils and the amazing benefits that they could have on our physical, emotional and spiritual well being!  We have never looked back!  I started sharing how these products were so life changing with everyone I could tell, because I wanted my friends and family to have the same results that I was having!  Who doesn't want to share the greatest deal on the pair of shoes you just bought, or the best food at the restaurant that just opened down the street?  We love to help our friends enjoy the great finds that we encounter in life and this is why your here!  Now, not only has our emotional health been improved but our financial health has  had a transformation as well.   I am excited to welcome you to this great  find that has changed my family's life forever!
