Have you tried Red Cedar Bliss? I recently received my first bottle of this after talking with some other Young Living leaders about its benefits for the respiratory system and heart. It was created by Young Living in 2020 for some very specific benefits to those body systems. SEASONAL VARIATIONS Of PLANTS
Seeds planted from the same species in different geographic locations can result in oils with different chemical make-ups. These variations are called chemotypes.
The chemotypes of oils cannot simply be described by their genus and species; they have to be labeled with the region in which the seeds are grown.
Many plants produce more essential oils at a certain time of day; morning, afternoon or evening. Other plants produce more oils at certain times of the year. Growers must have this knowledge to know when is the best time to harvest. (Young Living)
The essential oils in balsam fir trees act as an antifreeze and are the most potent in the middle of winter. Winter is the best time to harvest and distill the oil!

Did you know that there is 2x the demand for lavender oil in the world than supply of actual lavender plant. That means *at least half* of all lavender on this planet was NEVER EVEN A PLANT. Completely SYNTHETIC, made in a lab, sold as all natural and pure and yada yada yada. 
Did you know that it takes Cypress 24 hours in the distiller to release its 280 chemical constituents? If you distill for 20 hours, you get 20 constituents. 26 hours? Zero constituents. And guess what? Most Cypress oil on the market is distilled for 3.5 hours. 
With these cheap knock-offs sold on everywhere, people are getting so much less than thy actually pay for... and oils that have zero healing or therapeutic properties are truly the best way to WASTE YOUR MONEY. Flush it down the freaking toilet. How’s that for expensive?3. “The oils are more expensive because this is an MLM..” // Yikes. This one is a lot to unpack.. but let’s try, shall we?
In an MLM like Young Living, people are compensated for word of mouth advertising. They receive percentages of orders as they are kind of like wholesalers bringing goods to the public.
Non-MLM companies pay out a massive advertising and marketing budget to a company who will execute, and to networks/internet platforms/etc who charge HUGE premiums to put the info out there in canned and inauthentic ways.
This money is paid to corporations instead of the families of their product users.
The pot of money is just about the same, however it’s used differently. With this company, you are supporting the families you KNOW who are working to provide education, support and customer service to pay their mortgage, pay off debt, buy healthy food for their kids, help a family in need...instead of the padding the thickly-lined pockets of some faceless advertising agency, or the CEO of Amazon/Whole Foods, Facebook, etc. Your choice.
Other companies are ONLY about their bottom line... not the quality, not the standards, not the longevity and sustainability. So what are you actually buying? And what are you actually supporting with your hard-earned money? Yikes.

Guess what season it is? It’s the season of my husband working out in the yard cleaning up brush and leaves from the season before and finding a little “****” under his arm 
Thankfully my hubby got the little bugger detached safely but our immediate protocol is to apply the oils that help support your body when this kind of things happens.
We all grew up with a medicine cabinet but I chose to raise my kids with a wellness cabinet. We think preventative and are proactive with our health and do what we can to help support our body naturally so it can fight all the things that life brings us. Even these little seasonal buggers!!!
Because I keep oils on hand, (something I am always teaching our members) when this happens, I grab my desk reference and look up what oils to use and use what I have, then we mix them up in a roller ball so he can apply that to the “spot” where the little bugger got him every hour initially for the next day or two. Then he will just apply twice a day for a week or as needed to ensure that his body has fought well.
Natural medicine has been the main modality for health and healing for thousands of years. Do you know that dentists used Clove as a numbing agent until this century. Some still do. We just hosted our Lucy Libido Make and Take Class in Salem, Wisconsin last week. If you would like the notes for your upcoming Valentines Day, reach out and I can email them to you! I know I currently have a Health Share program that I have used for 18 years and they cover any doctor or functional medicine practitioner I want to see, but they do not cover wellness visits or preventative care, so I pay a lot out of pocket monthly for basically emergency or sick visits. My Chiropractor is only covered if I am injured and the natural doctors are only covered if I go because I have an issue. I will stick with Young Living cough drops with just stevia in them and I will make sure to pack them next time! Have you had the current thing that is going around? One that makes you sleep, feel unwell and keeps you home from work and school? We just experienced it and I can honestly say it was not fun BUT with the right tools, you can get through it and get through it faster than most. The key oils I suggest having on hand to start at the first sign of feeling under the weather, is Oregano, Thyme, RC, Thieves, Cedarwood and Lavender. I could name so many more but I have to keep the list easy to remember. Thyme is especially great for the lungs (I was putting it in some homemade elderberry syrup and making my husband drink it from a shot glass, he didn't especially like it but it was a necessary tool for wellness) For myself, I put it in a capsule along with Thieves, Lavender, Oregano and Tsuga.
When your sinus' are stuffed up and you don't have a netty pot handy, use this tried and true method for clearing out your sinus' fast! Boil water, put 2 drops of RC or Eucalyptus oil in the water and immediately cover your head and the bowl to make a little dome and breathe slowly. (not recommended for young kids as they may spill the hot water on themselves) The oils will make you cough at first, but thats good because you need to cough out the mucus. Have your tissues ready because you will be clearing out your sinus' with this cheap and easy technique. And it is safe to do as many times a day as you need to, and you can do it in a hotel room, in your home or a home of the host where you are staying.
When you have small kids, or even babies, I suggest always traveling with a nebulizer. In our home we use Colloidal Silver or Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide, but please check with your doctor to see what they recommend for your babies. We use this one and will not longer travel without it. It is great for adults and kids and is small and easy to carry when traveling and it feels good to be prepared if something comes up when you are not at home. The wellness tool we use the most when we are down for the count is Inner Defense. It has been a powerhouse for our family in times of need for the last 13 years. We don't use this daily, we only take it after surgeries, or when we are really down for the count. My husband was sicker than I was and he had so much mucus in his lungs so we had to tackle it and tackle it early .

For my family, by the second day of using them 4x a day, we feel better but we continue to use up the bottle until its empty to make sure we have taken care of what needs to be tackled. If you have a sensative stomach, take this with a full meal and if needed Yogurt or dairy for the fat to slow down the absorption. If you have children that need support, that are too young to take them internally, you can break open the capsule and rub the capsule contents over the course of a day on their feet only. Its a great way to keep your family feeling good quickly.
