No Sew Lavender Heat Pad
We all have long days and it can be stressful.  The best way to unwind at night and heal those achy muscles is by using this No Sew Lavender Heat Pad.

I absolutely love the scent of Lavender and all the healing benefits that come with Lavender Essential Oils are even better. Whenever I have an achy neck, shoulders, legs or tummy I reach for my heat pad but really get no relief from it.  Since I get no relief I ventured out to make a more beneficial one using Lavender and rice.  Rice is great for a heat pad source because it’s soft on your muscles and can really form around those curves.  I took a pair of  baby leggings, some baker’s twine, some rice and lavender essential oil and made the best No Sew Lavender Heat Pad ever!

Supplies Needed:
  • 4 Cups of long grain white rice
  • Baby Leggings
  • Baker’s Twine
  • Young Living Lavender Essential Oil
Directions:
Grab a pair of baby leggings and tie off one end with your baker’s twine.  Be sure to tie it and knot it a minimum of 3 times so it doesn’t break open with hours of use.  In a small mixing bowl pour in your 4 cups of rice and add about 10 drops of lavender essential oil to your rice.  Mix it up well.  Using your spoon, spoon in your mixture to fill up the baby legging and once it’s near the top close it off and tie with the other piece of baker’s twine.  That’s it.  Now to use these as heat pads all you have to do is place in the microwave for 1 minute with a small cup of water.  After the minute is up they’ll be warm to the touch and can be place on numerous parts of your body!  Enjoy!
