Want to Grow Old Gracefully? Start when you are 20! | India Davis
I spent my 20's working, running around with friends, enjoying bible studies, and eating out occasionally. In my 30's I got married, had a baby, gained weight and spent way to much time at McDonalds with the indoor playground. Unfortunately, fast food became a way of life.

That way of life continued into my 40's. I loved being 40. I had a part-time job I enjoyed, became a homeschool mom and ministered with my husband in our local church. Stress became a way of life with such a busy schedule. So by the time I hit my 50's my lifestyle had caught up with me. Suddenly, I was growing older and playing "good health"  catch up in many areas of my life. The 50's were not looking good on me and it was not "graceful". I had some health scares that really motivated me to make some changes and become healthier. I was fortunate in my 50's to have
found a company that  met many of my needs for a more clean, natural healthy lifestyle. I lost weight, and learned to relax more. I watch what goes in and on my body.

Growing old gracefully does not have to be hard if you start in your 20's, 30's, and 40's Do not wait till a health crisis happens in your life to make changes.Begin now! No matter your age examine your lifestyle. How do you feel physically and emotionally? How often do you eat out? How often do you exercise?  These are questions you can ask at any age. Growing old gracefully is more than just beautiful skin. It is also a strong healthy body. Begin today!  Ditch the soft drinks for flavored water. Join a health club or the Y. Eat out only on special occasions (you will enjoy it more). Relax and read a book. Sleep more and stress less. Begin to grow old gracfully now...no matter your age.

I learned how to enjoy life over 50......

Turning 40 was a magical age for me. I was at an age where life was easy. I enjoyed scrapbooking and crafting with my friends, homeschooling my son and serving alongside my husband in our local church. Even though I was overweight I looked good and felt good. But within a few short years my health changed dramatically. I developed respiratory issues, pelvic pain, and a chronic disorder characterized by “widespread muscle pain with fatigue and tenderness”.  Occasional anxiety set in. My decline really affected my ability to be creative, to minister effectively in my church and to function at home.

I suffered through a hysterectomy and many doctors visits. A change in seasons would send me in a painful roller coaster of antibiotics and steroids. Spending a whole day in bed became normal.  Age 50 came quickly with no lasting solutions.

Eventually I began to explore and research natural remedies. Something I was not taught in my younger years was lifestyle.  I considered that maybe my lifestyle was contributing to my health issues and my emotions.

One day I was venting my frustration to a friend who had been battling some of  the same chronic issues. We talked about some of the natural solutions I had read about. One of the  solutions she had used and had some great results with. I became instantly interested.

That is when my real life changing journey began. I found a solution that has contributed to a healthy lifestyle and brought about the quality of life I was looking for.  It is my mission to share with mature women, how to embrace the enjoyment of life over 50.
