
When people talk about acceptance, they often imagine reaching a place where you’re completely at peace with everything that has happened.
I have learned that acceptance is much messier than that.
Acceptance isn’t a destination you arrive at once and for all. It often shifts from day to day, asking us to make room for uncertainty, change, and emotions that don’t always fit neatly together. It’s learning how to carry both grief and gratitude at the same time.
