For the entire time I have been with Young Living the last 14 years, I have always encouraged those I teach to grab a desk reference. It is like the encyclopedia of Young Living oils. Because we are somewhat restrained online by 3 letter agencies since 2014 to tell you what the oils can exactly do for your body, we encourage you to always have a desk reference on hand which goes into much detail about the constituents of each oil, what the properties are, the distillation process, and the "ailments" it addresses. Things we cannot tell you, these beautiful guide books do. Because these books are not "compliant", Young Living cannot publish them directly, but we have always had 3rd party resources to share. The old company went out of business in 2020 but there is a new sheriff in town and this beautiful book is so full of resources on body systems, Young Living essential oils, our supplements, Raindrop technique directions and so much more. I get this question all the time. I love to help people to see how safe and powerful oils can be for littles as well as adults. This cutie is struggling below the wellness line and we have been doing modified raindrops on her daily, twice a day. She is only three so we use less oils and a couple specific ones for her struggles.

If you have been around Young Living for any amount of time, you have heard us talk about a desk reference. It is like the encyclopedia for Young Living oils. Fall is upon us and we want to be prepared for all the things. My two favorite respiratory support oils to take internally for tough respiratory things are Red Cedar Bliss, formulated for supporting your lungs and immune system and Laurus Nobilis. 4-5 drops a day in a gelatin capsule will do your lungs a lot of good. If you cannot swallow capsules, you can put the drops in a tsp of raw honey. These are must haves in my home to keep our lungs healthy and breathing easy. Red Cedar Bliss has Laurus Nobilis in the combination of oils in the blend, so if you can't afford both, Red Cedar Bliss should be on your list. It is not only good to take internally for lungs, but it also just smells devine.
What is in your Fall wellness kit? I say all the time, to order one or two oils per month on Loyalty to build your wellness kit to keep the cost economical and to be prepared when things strike at home. Did you know that Young Living oils do not expire? If you do not use that full bottle of Lavender this year, or the next or even in 10 years, it is still just as potent and valuable for your health issues ten years down the line. You can throw them in your diaper bag and forget about them until they are needed, you can put them in a bug-out bag for that emergency that you hope never comes, or maybe you just use Peppermint daily but one day your skin gets sun-kissed, your baby gets diaper rash, you can't sleep or your sinus' are angry, you can go grab that bottle of Lavender that has been sitting on your shelf or in your drawer and it will still work! This is my hand, and it is exciting! Can you guess why?
For those who know me and see me daily, I have not been able to make a fist with my left hand since December. I have not been able to wear my wedding rings since December.
It started with mild swelling and slight pain. I didn’t hit it, or injure it that I know of so I just thought I strained it since I type every day. Then one night I took my rings off and poof, my whole ring finger swelled up and I couldn’t bend it beyond the first joint.
I dealt with it for months and thought it would go away. Then it didn’t. I didn’t consistently apply anything to it. I finally decided to talk to a hand specialist and of course he told me to get steroid injections even though he said they only worked for half the people 
. No thank you. Look up the dangers of steroid injections. 
. Then he said surgery was the only other option. 
. I don’t want surgery unless I’m dying soooooo I decided to take some time and see what I could do on my own. The doctor said it was a strained tendon and the band around it was tight causing my finger not to bend and that he needed to cut that band to release the tendon. Literally I couldn’t bend my finger into fist position UNTIL today. 
. No thank you. Look up the dangers of steroid injections. . Then he said surgery was the only other option. . I don’t want surgery unless I’m dying soooooo I decided to take some time and see what I could do on my own. The doctor said it was a strained tendon and the band around it was tight causing my finger not to bend and that he needed to cut that band to release the tendon. Literally I couldn’t bend my finger into fist position UNTIL today. I was giving my husband a raindrop daily when he was working two weeks ago when I noticed that my finger was limber and could almost touch my palm. So I decided to put those oils in a roller ball and apply daily, 4x a day.
This accomplishment here is after only 2 days of consistent application.
Oils work. They help the bodies natural response to inflammation and help restore the body back to normal balance at a cellular level.

Have you tried a Young Living Raindrop Technique yet?
If not, you need to! My daughter started giving them to us when she was 10 years old. Yes, anyone can do it. You can purchase the Young Living Raindrop kit that comes with paper instructions on how to use the kit. My daughter would lay us on the floor or bed and apply the oils while she followed the instructions. It is so soothing and relaxing. Even if you cannot purchase the kit (say its out of stock at times) you can buy the bottles of oils individually and watch a full version of the Raindrop on You Tube. There is one that has Gary Young doing the technique at a class.
I highly recommend this, I have gone to Young Livings Raindrop class over the years and the benefits are simply amazing. Look up the benefits in your desk reference, there is a whole section to describe the Raindrop treatment and what it entails!!!!
If you cannot have someone with you to administer the Raindrop to you, take advantage of the Raindrop in a bottle! Great for singles, or people who travel a lot!
Raindrop technique is a powerful technique using essential oils that was developed by D. Gary Young in the 1980s. It combines several modalities to bring balance and transformation. It also supports body systems on a physical and emotionally level.
The most amazing thing about Raindrop is that all of my clients measure taller after just one session! Yeah! They are not actually taller, but inflammation is gone from the spine, so the posture is elongated. We measure before and after and its pretty amazing to see it before your eyes.
What is Raindrop Technique?
This technique involves applying therapeutic grade essential oils to the spine, neck and feet. The session lasts about an hour however the benefits may last up to a week or more.
Gary found that combining several holistic techniques, described below, created a synergistic effect for the body. The three modalities that combine to form Raindrop Technique are:
Aromatherapy – Raindrop technique uses seven single essential oils, two blends and one essential oil massage blend during the session. It is congruent with the French application of aromatherapy where essential oils are applied NEAT (undiluted) to the body.
Vita Flex Technique – Vita Flex was brought to the US in the 1920s by Stanley Burroughs. It is an ancient Tibetan methodology meaning "vitality through the reflexes". Its theory is based on the fact that slight pressure applied to the body creates an electric charge that is therapeutic to the body. This is known as piezoelectric.
Feather Stroking - This is similar to a massage term technique called effleurage. But this technique was actually termed by the Native American Indians.
How does Raindrop get its Name?
Essential oils are actually dropped from about 6 inches above your spine, simulating rain drops! It feels like a rain drop gently striking your spine, and it is very relaxing and comforting.
It is thought that the oils interact with a person's electric field before even penetrating the skin of the back. Thereby, enhancing the electromagnetic properties of the oils as well. Amazing
