Confidence is not “they will like me” Confidence is “I will be fine if they don’t.”
This is not going to be like my other blogs. This is going to be more of a blog from the heart. I want to give you a tool kit to help you with the battles of the world. Lately I’ve been asked “how did you get to where you are now" and “what do you stand for?”
Let me start first with what I stand for. There are many parts here and I probably won’t go into all of them in this blog, but here are a few. Believing God has a plan for me, leads to believing that there is a way I can have an impact. I can start serving again with confidence and kindness. Meaning I want to make sure there is laughter and positivity.
The reason I’m working on empowering women to take charge of their self esteem even if they don’t believe in themselves, is because I don’t want you/them to wind up like me not remembering a week or so of their life. Our mind has a way of blocking things out to protect us.
I will not be part of rudeness, bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
But anyways, here are the first 4 items that are in my tool kit:
- Some friends were there for me no matter what.
- Started using some oils that I found out helped my emotions, among other things. Stress Away and Peace and Calming do exactly what their name says. Any of the citrus ones are uplifting. When I diffuse lemon, lavender and peppermint my nose doesn’t feel stuffy.
- Participated in a program called the 11 Day Jumpstart. Which I didn’t want to do at first, but am very thankful because it was a complete life changer. Altogether I’ve lost 35 lbs on the program. Gained confidence and authentic friends. Able to run up my stairs with out being out of breath. Ningxia Red Juice
- Then I listened to some books on audible.
- Thriving with Anxiety - https://amzn.to/3yJN4s9 This book talks about facing your fears. It is part of what helped me fly to Oregon over Christmas. I HAD a fear of flying, but that time I looked out the window while taking off and landing. The 2 times I would shake with anxiety before.
- Home Based Revolution - https://amzn.to/3KvyxmA Martha created the 11 Day Jumpstart so that is why I first listened to this book. She has multiple programs that I wanted to learn more and be able to travel more later.
