I get asked quite often about what foundation I use and how do I get it to look so natural. I'm going to let you in on a little application secret that I use! But first......
If you're new to Savvy Minerals makeup by Young Living I have some really important info to share! Savvy Mineral makeup contains NO junky ingredients like talc, mineral oils, parabens, nano particles, phthalates, fragrances, synthetic colorants, etc... (yay!!). This was really important to me and a huge reason that I didn't wear makeup in the past. I used to have a lot of trouble finding products that didn't irritate my skin (or my conscience) so I was thrilled when Savvy Minerals was introduced!
I was super happy with my Savvy Mineral powder foundation and misting spray combo! It was the first foundation released, and we were so happy to have it!! It applied really easy, looked natural and covered great! I was (am) a very satisfied lady! I still use this product regularly so it's not in my past by any means!!
A couple years ago Young Living upped their makeup game and added.....Liquid Foundation!! Whoa! I didn't really have any experience with liquid foundation, but I thought I'd give it a try so I could share my thoughts with all of you! As expected, it was another amazing product! However, I wasn't used to liquid foundation and the coverage it provides. I felt like it was a little too "full" coverage for me. I wanted a coverage that fell somewhere between 'full' and 'light' so I made a slight adjustment to my application process and ....Viola! I found my sweet spot!
I use a small amount of my Savvy liquid foundation, combined with a small amount of the ART Light Moisturizer and apply it to my face with the Savvy Minerals liquid foundation brush! (You could apply it with a sponge or your fingertips, I just really love the brush!) If you feel like that isn't coverage enough for you, you could repeat the process until you reach your desired level!
