Everything changes....The time, the date, the weather, our perspective, our job, our age, our body, our talents, our priorities, our beliefs, and the list goes on.... How do you deal with it all??!!
When I was younger, I worried about change. I worried about what would happen if/when something changed. It seems it was part of my thought process to assume that a change will also come with a challenge or two. No matter if it was a positive change or an unfortunate challenge, negative thoughts would creep in and often cause me to be anxious about the unknown, or revisit a previous time of change. It wasn't the healthiest way to look at a new situation.
Now that I have a few more life experiences to draw on, and a few more tools in my belt, I look at change a bit differently. I can see the past more clearly now, and recognize that I often "borrowed trouble" as my dad would say. In my mind, I found issues that really weren't there...reasons to not make a change, not take a leap, or not charge forward after a goal I had set for myself! I was the only challenge holding myself back!
Nope. I'm not perfect! Yep. I still occasionally turn away from my castle! But..I put my head down and I work through it. I have learned to see change as an opportunity for growth and I strive to learn something from every life experience! Change can be scary.... Change can be hard... But guess what? It doesn't have to be! We can do Hard Things! We can do Scary Things! We are Stronger than we Think! And now I know that change is a Good thing!! We aren't meant to stay static forever.
We are beautiful living things that are meant to evolve, grow, and flourish in this lifetime!! Some people like to say that it's like peeling back the layers of an onion....I like to think of it as the opening of a beautiful lotus flower. The more we open up to life experience and change, the more beautiful our life becomes!
Here is a great oily combo I like to use when I need a little help opening up to new ideas or letting go of old expectations.
You likely have these oils on hand....they come in your premium starter kit!
In hand 'scent tent' method:
1 drop Lavender Essential Oil
1 drop Frankincense Essential Oil
1 drop Stress Away Essential Oil
Drop oils into your palm, rub your hands together in a clockwise motion several times, put both hands over your nose/mouth area, take slow deep breaths. Repeat several times. You do not need to add more oils.
Diffuser Blend:
4 drops Lavender Essential Oil
4 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
4 drops Stress Away Essential Oil
Fill diffuser with water as usual
Roller Bottle Blend:
6-8 drops Lavender Essential Oil
6-8 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
6-8 drops Stress Away Essential Oil
Fill the rest of the roller with a carrier oil of your choice (I use YL V-6 carrier oil)
Remember, change is inevitable...How you deal with it is up to you! You got this!
