Our diffusers are always running! I love that we can support our immune and respiratory systems, bolster our emotions, cleanse the air and make things smell happy and inviting all at the same time with just a few powerful drops!
Here are a few fun recipes for you as we transition into the Autumn season!

ProTip: You can also easily transform these blends into roller recipes and sprays! Adjust the quantities to your personal preferences!
* To make a 10mL roller from any recipe: triple the number of drops to make a total of 35-45 total drops, add a carrier of choice (we love V-6 Vegetable Complex) and you're good to go!
* To make a 2oz spray from any recipe: double the number of drops to a total of about 25 drops, add a splash of witch hazel and fill with filtered water. Spray anywhere you want to freshen!

Citrus Fresh might be the best citrus oil around. It contains so many favorites - Grapefruit, Tangerine, Lemon and more. This oil is incredibly versatile and a household staple for sure!
CITRUS FRESH & EMOTIONS
Citrus Fresh might be one of the most overlooked emotional support oils! Because this blend combines multiple citrus oils with a hint of mint, it is a great choice for stimulating the right side of the brain. When we are consumed with worry, stress or suffer from analysis paralysis, the right side of the brain is less active. Inhaling Citrus Fresh, getting calm and quiet, allowing the emotions and processing them can help us move out of that place of stuckness!
Also, because Citrus Fresh contains limonene, it has antioxidant properties. Antioxidants help neutralize free radicals in the body. Free radicals cause physical stress, and when we lower that physical stress burden our emotions benefit as well!

* Happy Go Lucky: 4 drops Grapefruit + 4 drops Citrus Fresh + 3 drops Lavender
* Mood Boost: 4 drops Citrus Fresh + 3 drops Lime + 3 drops Vanilla
* Lemon Cookies: 4 drops Citrus Fresh + 3 drops Cinnamon Bark + 2 drops Lemon + 1 drop each Nutmeg, Clove

It's finally Spring and everything is blooming! No, really....Everything...All at Once!
Ahh Spring! We are so glad you're here! You bring new life, amazing beauty and the promise of Summer!
So many beautiful things come to mind around the thoughts of Spring! But for some of us, Spring also brings temporary challenges like sneezes, itches, annoyances... Especially this year when Spring came all at once! I usually feel a gradual slide into this season as things pop up and bloom at various intervals. When that happens, I feel like I am better equipped to handle the changes in the air. This year, with everything coming to life at once, I've needed a little oily support to help me through. If you're needing a little assistance as well, you could try my favorite seasonal support recipe!
When I am home, sleeping, or in my car I prefer the diffuser method. If I am out and about, away or from my diffuser, I prefer to apply the roller blend to the bottom of my feet. *Remember lemon can be photosensitive.
My Spring Sidekick Recipe:
6 drops YL Peppermint Essential Oil
6 drops YL Lemon Essential Oil
6 drops YL Lavender Essential Oil
Any YL Diffuser of your choice + water = Diffuser method
Any roller bottle of your choice + carrier oil = Topical method
Pro Tips:
I have found that when I have these oils on or around me outdoors, insects seem to interact with me less! (Bonus!)
I have found that the air seems cleaner, fresher and the moods are lighter when this is in the diffuser! (Like Spring should be!)

This time of year can be very Exciting, Uplifting, and Joyful! We take opportunities to share love, appreciation and support with friends, family and those around us! Pretty lights glow all around and we hum holiday tunes as we shop, bake, and decorate..... We are living our best lives with anticipation of gatherings with loved ones!
But, let's be honest..... for some, the season of Joy and Giving can also come with the feelings of exhaustion, overwhelm, mixed emotions, and hurry! The shortened days, the weather and the busyness of getting all the details together can add to those feelings.
