I recently came across this foot soak recipe and was reminded how little we focus on our feet. Our feet have the important jobs of walking us through this amazing life, keeping us grounded, and helping us to maintain our vitality. A good soak, and some focused vitaflex massage or reflexology, can do wonders to increase circulation, reduce inflammation, and bring a greater sense of calm. For those in the northern states, a warm foot soak is especially welcome during these chilly winter months! Enjoy!
Here's an easy button for the oils needed for the recipe --> Relax & Restore Foot Soak

Have you ever looked at the sparkling little eyes of a youngster with full, dark, long lashes and wished yours still had the same vitality they once did?! Ya, me too! I've been eyeing up a few lush lash serum recipes online and finally decided to give it a try! (Ha..see what I did there?! lol) If you want to join me, here are the details of the recipe I'm using.
Grab a clean, empty mascara tube. To that add:
1-2 Drops of YL Rosemary Essential Oil
1-2 Drops of YL Lavender Essential Oil
1-2 Drops of YL Cedarwood Essential Oil
Castor oil to fill the rest of the tube (I always look for the most pure products I can find. Organic, Non GMO, Cold Pressed, No additives or solvents)
Once combined, brush this on to your clean, makeup free lashes before bed.
Optional Additions:
1-2 Drops of YL Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
1-2 Drops of Vitamin E (if added, look for the most pure products...Organic, Non GMO, Cold Pressed, No additives or solvents)
I've posted a "how to" video for creating this serum in the private member area for you to review. Find the video in the Create Your Own section of the Pathway to Wellness! This time of year can be very Exciting, Uplifting, and Joyful! We take opportunities to share love, appreciation and support with friends, family and those around us! Pretty lights glow all around and we hum holiday tunes as we shop, bake, and decorate..... We are living our best lives with anticipation of gatherings with loved ones!
But, let's be honest..... for some, the season of Joy and Giving can also come with the feelings of exhaustion, overwhelm, mixed emotions, and hurry! The shortened days, the weather and the busyness of getting all the details together can add to those feelings.
Many of us fall somewhere in the middle..... I know I do!
Taking a bit of time for self care, and whole home care, is very important. Enjoy a quiet moment admiring the Lights, consciously stop to enjoy the Laughter in the room, give a Hug where needed, observe the Love shared by family and friends, or take time for something that brings you Joy. Remember, we set the tone for those around us so we need to check in with ourselves while looking out for those we love. Use the tools in the recipes below to adjust the feelings as needed and see the difference.
We have put together some great resources for you this Holiday season! Our December newsletter has some awesome ideas for beating the winter blues and lists fabulous classes to support you this month! In addition, I believe you will LOVE this presentation with 25 diffuser recipes to use all month and throughout the winter! Enjoy!

You are Fabulous. You are Appreciated. You are Loved.

Ready or Not..... Here it comes!
The cooler temps, the crunching leaves, and the beautiful fall colors here in the midwest are sure signs that Fall has arrived! Although it's a beautiful season, it always makes me a little sad to send Summer off into the (much earlier) sunset.... Sigh...
On the bright side, Fall also brings some time to slow down, reflect, and rest from the busy Summer months. Many of us find a little extra time to wrap up in a blanket by the fire, snuggle on the couch with a great book, or just fellowship with friends while enjoying a great cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
If you're like me, Fall also brings a need to change things up a little! I get the urge to change my hair, buy a new outfit, clean out a closet or just try something new! While looking to up my game in the beverage department, I found some fun new recipes that I thought you would enjoy also! Check out this great link with a little bit of education and a lot of easy recipes! I call it Oil, Sip, Repeat !
