Last night was pizza and movie night for our family.  We watched Disney's Brave for the 4th time.  We knew it would be good, fun with great visuals.  But I forgot it has such great visual relationship wisdom.  

Any mom with a teenage daughter knows the struggle of rearing an independent, strong woman with the ability to head your wisdom and be respectful.  Every encounter has the potential to bring anger, discouragement and breed pride.  

I was smiling to myself as my 19 year old watched with us, hoping she could connect with Mereda's ill temperament toward her mother's desire for her to follow the marriage traditions of her country.

I have hope in a stronger relationship with my woman child, and have the tools I need to support this goal.  As I wrote in my instapost @shawnsoily:
