Welcome back to my blog, where I share my passion for wellness and holistic health. As a Young Living Brand Partner business owner, I have learned the value of taking care of my mind, body, and soul through the use of essential oils and other natural products.

Living with autoimmune disease and hormonal syndrome takes a lot of work, and I am thankful for a mostly positive outlook. And as a helper type person, I look to help others while leaving my oxygen mask dangling. It's been a while since I've written. The Winter season is in full swing, and we've passed the New Year with a long January. While I enjoyed celebrating the holiday season gluten-free, it's now my birthday month and Valentine's Day that brings more food temptations. I must admit I continue to struggle to maintain my extra strict paleo diet because I felt extra hungry with such restrictions. After testing clear for them, I've added some grains back into my diet. My gut doesn't seem to react negatively to rice or oat, but we'll see what the doctor says at my appointment in a couple of weeks. After weeks of taking the Candida supplement, my doctor gave me a prescription to help eradicate my continuing candida problem. She is a board-certified MD, so she practices both traditional and non-traditional medicine.
Before I get to the individual supplements I’m taking, I’d like to report that I’m feeling my metabolism is in much better working order and I can even tell my brain is functioning at a higher level again. It’s been a short journey to feel so much better. I’m currently at month 8 on my transition back to optimum health after a hard two years of declining health and immobility.

Yep, I have Celiac Disease! After reading my previous post, you may be asking, how did I not know I had severe gut issues? Every person with gluten issues has different experiences. Some people vomit or have to run to the bathroom, and there is a long list of general symptoms, but my primary response is fatigue. I became accustomed to a daily nap after lunch. My days were shorter than most people's because I required more sleep. It's been a blessing that I can choose my work hours!
