Is it ridiculous to think you want to know how essential oils can help you?

That was me! And then I started diffusing Thieves, and gave me and my cat a quick-detox. Started using Peppermint on my sciatic nerve, and after a couple months of consistent application, got relief from the pain (which has not returned). Skin Care, the 3rd installment in this Education Series: Targeted Support For The Upcoming Holiday Season

All 3 topics of this Series are linked as the stress of the next few weeks takes a toll on your 
emotionsgut and skin. As well as other areas of your life. And that stress affects everyone differently.

Let’s get back to the basics regarding taking care of your skin. Which I find helpful when stress kicks up. This will help you all year round!

Build a daily skin care routine to include cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing.

Wear sunscreen. Even in the winter, when you are going to be outside!

Get More Sleep because beauty sleep is a thing. What helps me sleep at night is diffusing certain essential oils like Lavender, Frankincense, Cedarwood, and others.

Drink more water. My team and I regularly do water challenges to help increase our daily water intake and encourage each other.

Use antioxidants! Those pesky free radicals cause damage to our bodies, and skin. Take care of you, both inside and outside.

Also, exercising regularly is also good for skin. Did you know that sweating can help “cleanse” your pores?

PRO TIP: Wash the makeup off your face every night, helps keep skin breathe during the night which helps your skin stay healthy.

Are you eating the best these days?

Are you feeling that in your gut? Aaannd, maybe in other areas of your life too?

I totally understand! As I mentioned in my 
All The Feels class the other day, I mentioned that it is easier for me to eat fresh fruits and veggies in the summer months. Another reason I am thankful for NingXia Red as it helps me get legit freshness in my body! #KnowBetter #DoBetter

If you are like me, eating well will only get trickier during the next couple months. Which means, I need to think about ways to support 
my emotions, gut and skin all-naturally for the upcoming holiday season.

Cuz let’s face it, for so many of us, these are areas where stress reveals itself. Which may actually escalate your stress levels!

The question you want to ask yourself is: What are signs of an unhealthy gut?

Common Signs of an Unhealthy Gut

-Sugar cravings
-Bad breath

And of course, the next question to ask yourself: What can you do about it?

Ways to improve gut health
-Probiotics
-Intake gut-friendly food
-Vegetarian diet
-Eat less sugar
-Reduce your stress levels
-Exercise
-Avoid taking antibiotics
-Stay hydrated
-Eat slowly
-Quit smoking
-Get plenty of sleep
-Avoid disinfectants
