How to Show Up Without Starting Over | Repurposing Content with our Done-For-You Swipe File System

If you’ve ever thought, “I just don’t have time to keep posting,” or “I don’t know what to say anymore,” this one’s for you.

This week’s training is about a small shift that makes a big difference: you don’t need to keep creating from scratch every time you want to show up. If you’ve shared anything before—a post, a tip, a story, even just an idea—you already have what you need.

In this session, we show you how to reuse and repurpose what you’ve already said, written, or shared so you can stay visible without the burnout. And yes—this works even if you’ve only ever made one post or email.

If you’re building a Young Living business and want to be more consistent without spending more time online, this is the training you need.

Most Brand Partners Think They Need to Do More. You Don’t.

If showing up online feels like too much work, you’re not alone. Between sharing products, caring for customers, and everything else life throws at you, “make content” can fall to the bottom of the list—fast.

But here’s the thing: you don’t need to constantly create something new to be consistent. You’ve already done more than you think. Even one post can be turned into several ways to keep showing up.

This isn’t about being perfect, polished, or glued to your phone. It’s about being present—in a way that builds trust and keeps your business moving, even when life is full.

What Repurposing Actually Means (and Why It Works)

Repurposing means using something you’ve already said or shared and presenting it again in a new way. It’s not cheating—it’s smart. It helps you:

  • Save time by not starting from scratch
  • Show up more often, even when you're busy
  • Reinforce your message so it actually sticks

People need to hear things multiple times before they remember or take action. Repurposing helps you do that—without feeling repetitive.

Start with Just One Thing You’ve Shared

You don’t need a library of content to start repurposing. Grab a post, email, or story you’ve already shared—even if it’s old. Or pull something from your Swipe File if you’ve used our content planning system.

Then ask: How else could I share this same message?

That one piece of content can become:

  • A Reel or video of you talking about it
  • A short story post with a personal angle
  • A quote graphic that summarizes the main point
  • A tip or FAQ post with practical advice
  • A testimonial that ties back to what you shared

Just like that, one idea becomes five ways to keep showing up.

Example: Turning One Post Into a Week of Showing Up

Let’s say you shared a post last month about how your son was struggling with focus at school—and how your favorite blend in the diffuser during homework time helped him settle and finish his work. It got a few likes and maybe one comment—but then you moved on.

Here’s how you could take that same story and turn it into five different posts or shares:

  • Day 1 – Story post: Share the original experience again, but updated. Maybe he's back in school now and doing better, and you still use the same routine.
  • Day 2 – Tip post: Create a quick “homework blend” recipe graphic or write up how you use it in your daily routine.
  • Day 3 – Engagement post: Ask your audience what their go-to focus tips are for their kids.
  • Day 4 – Testimonial-style post: Share a screenshot or quote from someone else who tried your blend and found success.
  • Day 5 – Video or Reel: Record a 30-second clip showing how you set up your diffuser or talking about the importance of after-school calm time.

Now you’ve taken a moment that already happened—something real—and used it to create a full week of trust-building, heart-centered content. That’s the power of repurposing.

Simple Formats That Work Every Time

There are four post types you can reuse again and again—just swap in a new angle or story:

  • Story posts: Share a personal experience, struggle, or transformation
  • Tip posts: Teach something simple or practical your audience can try
  • Engagement posts: Ask a question, bust a myth, or invite conversation
  • Testimonial-style posts: Show how your product or help made a difference

Use one, use them all—it’s about sharing in different ways to meet your audience where they are.

Your 3-Step Repurposing Workflow

This is the exact process we shared in the training:

  1. Pick one idea, post, or email
  2. Choose 2–4 new formats to share it again
  3. Schedule or batch them across a few days or weeks

You don’t need more ideas—you just need a plan to reuse the good ones you already have.

Your Swipe File = Repurposing Gold

If you’ve followed our content planning series, your Swipe File is packed with ideas—many of which you’ve never used or only shared once. Those are perfect for repurposing.

Even content that didn’t get much engagement the first time might shine with a different format or story around it. Don’t waste what you’ve already done—put it to work!

Want to Go Faster? Use Templates

If you’ve found a format that works, save it. Use it again next week. Or turn it into a copy-paste template you can tweak anytime.

Inside GetOiling, you can also use Saved Replies to repurpose content across blog posts, emails, messages, and class lessons with just a few clicks.

Templates and tools reduce decision fatigue. They make showing up less stressful—and way more doable.

Why Consistent Content Builds Your Business

Every time you show up with something helpful, personal, or relevant, you're building trust. That trust is what makes people refer you, buy from you, and stay connected over time.

Consistent content helps you:

  • Build a recognizable presence (so people know who you are)
  • Stay top-of-mind when someone needs help or has a product question
  • Grow authority by sharing real stories, tips, and experiences
  • Establish credibility—so people don’t have to wonder if you’re serious about your business

And when your content lives on your blog or in your emails? That’s when it works for you 24/7, reaching people while you’re busy living your life.
