You’re Not Stuck
Have you ever felt stuck in your life…
like nothing is changing, and nothing can change?
I work with women in this space all the time.
Women who are walking through hard circumstances—
health challenges, loss, transitions they didn’t choose.
And here’s what we’ve discovered together:
Sometimes stuck isn't permanent.
It’s a temporary space that holds us…
until we’re ready to move.
And that word matters—ready.
Because the truth is, circumstances don’t always change right away.
And sometimes… they don’t change at all. But that doesn’t mean you can’t move forward. There is always a pathway forward.
Not all at once. Not in big leaps. But in one small, intentional step at a time. If you want to be unstuck, you can choose your next step today.
It doesn't need to be perfect, just intentional.
Here’s a simple way to begin:
Lament. Release what feels heavy. Be honest with God about what hurts.
Flip the script. “Yet God, I will praise you.” Even here. Even now.
Flourish. Choose to notice the good around you—the small glimpses of joy.
Because here’s what’s powerful:
When you begin to look for joy, your brain actually starts to find more of it. It’s how God designed you. Isn't that fascinating? Your mind begins to notice what you focus on. And over time, that focus creates new patterns—new ways of seeing, thinking, and responding.
So no… you’re not stuck. You’re in a holding space.
And when you’re ready—you can move.
JOY Tip
Ask yourself: “What is one small step I’m ready to take today?”
Not tomorrow. Not everything. Just one. (This is how I self-coach)
Scripture to Hold for JOY
“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy.” — Psalm 30:11
