Recently, out of the complete blue, I got an intuitive "HIT" to explore the use of yarrow (Achillea millefolium) essential oil.
I was contemplating what to do for a client struggling with a dermatological condition.
She was making some progress with her skin and many other issues, but we both wanted her to reach the next level of healing.
I couldn’t understand why yarrow oil was coming up in my mind, so I did what I always do.
I researched it.
I used to try to disregard the images that “spontaneously” popped up in my head when I am with clients.
Yet, I have learned over time, like other experienced clinicians, that this combination of intuition and clinical knowledge make a powerful duo.
What I discovered about yarrow essential oil proved to be precious gems of knowledge, and I was once again humbled by these “spontaneous” flashes of insight.
Yarrow essential oil was indeed a good fit for my client. It addressed skin health and some of the other symptoms we were also working on alleviating.
In my latest post and video, I share the information I learned from reviewing the literature on yarrow (Achillea millefolium) and its essential oil.
I discuss in depth how it is another remarkable example of a “blend in a single oil.”
Yarrow oil’s components include beneficial compounds that provide chamomile, eucalyptus, copaiba, pine, frankincense, and citrus oils many of their wellness properties.
Below are the topics on yarrow essential oil that I share with my readers in the rest of my article and video on my main website:
- The botanical classification of yarrow
- Yarrow and its essential oil’s history and traditional uses
