Lets Learn More About Vanilla

With its warm, rich, slightly sweet aroma, vanilla is one of the most popular and recognizable fragrances throughout the world.

Ever since coming on the Young Living recently, it has been a huge hit!

Young Living's exclusive Vanilla oleoresin has a gentle, welcoming and balancing aroma that evokes pleasant memories when diffused.

Vanilla has a pure, rich scent that may change slightly as you use it in different ways. It enhances and compliments a wide variety of other aromas and pairs well with Ylang Ylang, Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, and citrus oils like Orange, Tangerine, Bergamot, and Lime.

Diffuse Vanilla to create a homey, welcoming atmosphere and to enjoy its naturally calming aroma. Blend or layer it with your favorite Young Living essential oil to create your own personal fragrance.

Origins and Background
Vanilla is produced from Vanilla planiforlia, an orchid that grows long vanilla bean pods. The process of obtaining Vanilla is extensive, as it can take up to four years for the vine to mature. The vine produces orchid blossoms that last only 24 hours and must be pollinated by hand within 8 to 12 hours for the bean pod to grow. The entire process - growing pollinating, drying, curing, and preparing for export - takes around one year.

Extracted from beans grown in the northwestern region of Madagascar, the Young Living pure Vanilla oleoresin is ethically sourced and made with a unique extraction method developed for Young Living. This unique process helps our Vanilla retain its rich, classic aroma and blend especially well with Young Living essential oils. Obtaining just the right Vanilla oleoresin involves the removal of naturally sourced ethyl alcohol from French sugar beets, at which point the project is processed with fractionated coconut oil. While many vanilla products on the market are synthetic. Young Living Vanilla is 100% pure and quality tested to meet our rigorous Seed to Seal quality commitment.

Young Living's Vanilla is not strictly an extract or an absolute, both which contain mostly alcohol and do no blend well with essential oils. Noticing these flaws in mainstream vanilla extracts and absolutes, the D. Gary Young Research Institute worked to find a vanilla product that would meet our Seed to Seal quality commitment and blend well with our essential oils. They searched for more than a year to find the right product, and by using a first-of-its-kind extraction method with the vanilla oleoresin and fractioned coconut oil, they finally found Vanilla that is not only 100% pure, but also diffuses and blends beautifully with Young Living's essential oils.
